I learned about the MyPoints Program from this forum a few moths ago and I joined program. Recently, I got an email from them about "Consumer Input" another survey program that you could join, do surveys and get more Mypoints. In order to join this program a software program must be installed onto your computer.

Has anyone ever heard of or joined the "Consumer Input" program either from Mypoints or another program? Is this program worth joining? What's the deal with the software program?

    TIA!!

I have been a MyPoints member for years, and have earned tons of good stuff. MyPoints is a good, solid company and I highly recommend them. However, I do not do the surveys from other companies that are offered through MyPoints.

One survey company that uses MyPoints is OTX. I have spent 15 minutes on their stupid surveys, just to be told at that point that I do not qualify and get a whopping 10 points. After being burned a few times at that, I don't do the surveys any longer. Please note: It is the survey companies that I don't like, not MyPoints. MyPoints is great.

I also do not do programs where you have to download anything onto my computer.

I don't do the other companies' surveys either. The few I did sent me a ton of spam and it took forever to get them to stop. I make a decent amount of points just clicking emails, and when I buy online I always check first to see if I can get points. You can also receive points for referring friends, but most everyone I know already does mypoints, so I only was able to do that twice in the last few years.

Mypoints is worth it IMO. We have not paid for meals at Olive Garden, Chili's, or Red Lobster since I've been doing mypoints. There are plenty of other ways to redeem, but we like that we can eat out without feeling like we're blowing too much money.

Great site! I have been using this site for a little over a year and the points are adding up. I only do the e-mails. You can print coupons on their site and get 10 pts each but I haven't tried that yet. It takes you to the same site that all the other coupons come from. Everyone that I have talked to said they have always had good luck with this site. If you order on-line a lot ..the stores are listed on their site that pay pts and how many pts. per dollar you spend that you will get.

@donnaquilt and @floridamom1.... thanks for responding. I did not like the idea of having to download a program on my computer so I decided not to sign up for Consumer in put program.

They no longer offer the credit card - it was bought by Chase. I racked up so many points through that! But now, just complete all surveys, read all emails, and purchase through them.

Where do you find the surveys to complete?

I've been a member for a year, and have only earned enough for a $10 gift card, and I'm a Bzz agent adding points there. I must be doing something wrong.

I also can't use the toolbar on Firefox on my Mac. :(
