Ok, so I've searched through almost this entire thread and can't find the answer to my question. For storage and preservation purposes can you freeze the following:
Hamburger/Tuna Helper
Quaker Instant Oatmeal
Quaker Instant Grits
Dried cereals

Assuming you mean uncooked...I always keep my grits in the freezer. I would think that the oatmeal would freeze fine also.

The hamburger helper would probably freeze okay as well (cooked), so long as it wasn't sour cream based or something. Uncooked I think that the shelf life is pretty long on them but if you wanted to freeze them I don't see why you couldn't.

I would be afraid that the cereal would get soggy or stale after it came out of the freezer. Most of them have a pretty long shelf life though.

These freeze fine for 2-3 month's. Some people say the texture changes--you will have more water when you thaw it out, but I don't notice too much difference in the quality or taste.

I have done deli meets and they seem to be a little more watery when they thaw, but the taste is fine.

Oh yay! I accidentally put my Pillsbury cinnamon rolls and biscuits in the freezer when I came home from shopping the other day and thought I'd ruined it all. Whew and thanks!
