Stockpile - How to when your garage isn't heated...

Can I come too? Hate, hate, hate winter. And of course dh is going to renovate the house - he thinks I'm going to sleep in a bedroom w. a tarp tacked to the wall. I think I'm gonna end up frozen. If he couldn't build a house I'd wonder where his brain was lol

I do need to add I store a lot of the health & beauty stuff in the attic (no insulation) and it seems to be just fine.

With the recent Suave and Pert deal, I was thinking about garage storage too, so I tried a little experiment.

I took one bottle of Pert Plus and one bottle of Suave body wash and put them in the freezer. I did not pour any out, straight from the store to the freezer. I left them there for a week, so there is no doubt they were solidly frozen throughout. Then I put them on the counter to thaw, then used them. They were fine. No change in color, consistency, or performance.

Thanks for doing that experiment GT. I will store some of my body wash and shampoo in the garage now...husb wonders how many showers he is supposed to take a day with all I have stockpiled...he told me that after this many years I can just tell him if he has a problem LOL

I have no basement either, just a crawl space that is pretty inaccessible and it gets cold here. We've already had a light frost two nights ago. Of course the days are in the low 80's so we see it all...in the same day. I'm used to it though. Lived here all my life.
