*** Tip of the day to safely use $4 cats without needing cashier intervention. Just buy items that are $4 or more and go through self-checkout. Scan an item, then a $4 cat, then an item, then a $4 cat, etc. This way the computer doesn't go nuts. I found a lot of things you can buy for $4 and more:
| I find using them before I've scanned my card works well too, so I'm paying on the regular price. Can score overage that way too.

I am using the rest of my Glade coupons at stores that will actually accept their own cats, between this and the "spend x get y off" deals not working off regular prices anymore, i am done with Giant. Which is actually a relief since they have the rudest cashiers and CS I have ever encountered. |
I bought the boston market entrees ($4.29 retail, $2.50 sale price) this week and scanned the $4 catalinas before scanning my s&s card. If you buy $20 worth you'll get $5 off instantly at checkout (didn't work for me so cs gave me $5 back). If my calculations are correct you make $12.50 overage.
Other things I get is produce, maple syrup, milk. You right it is tough - I think I'll just try to use them on sale items that are reg over $4. Some of the frozen organic stuff is good - I love the indian meals, but I have to say these are really a treat. I bought a bunch of the honey bears a couple of weeks ago when they were on sale.

| Re: Another Glade Deal at Stop and Shop! Morning,
We went and got more 'glade' last night, sigh , yes we are addicted. Anyways, the cat machine is working!!! Uh hello, I was happier when it wasn't working! Yes I want everything..lol
To answer the above question, Jen I have used more then one at a time. Infact last night we used 3 of the ones that printed out, along with 2 $10.00 cats, a 10% off coupon and paid .56 cents oop.
However we used self checkout, and the 'kid' that helped us is super, super nice. |
