Heidi has one that's even more clear (add to this one) but dadgum I can't find it. For example? When you do those eggs, whip em up first and store in 2 C
for most uses; 4 or more, for omelets.

That's! I knew I had seen it somewhere, just couldn't find it for the life of me.

Default Can I freeze Kraft cheese singles?

I think the title pretty much says it all. Can I freeze them and if so how long would they be safe for? I have about 5 packages going bad and would rather freeze them then buy more next month. thank for any help.

BTW I did check in the cheese section, but didn't see anything on cheese singles so I wasn't sure. Also if it helps, the packages are still sealed with maybe 12 slices per package. Thanks

YES! I have a bunch in the freezer. The indiv. wrapped ones come out better, sometimes the deluxe stick after thawing.

yes you can freeze them , they usually have a long exp date. i would not freeze or buy the real cheap cheese slices as they are mostly oil and defrost to goop:)

Thanks ladies. I'll stick them in the freezer tonight. These are the Kraft ones so hopefully they have less oil and will defrost better. Any suggestions on the best way to defrost?

I freeze them and when I'm ready to thaw I just throw them in the fridge a day or so before I will need them.

perfect, thanks for all your help. Off to the freezer for them. Now I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for them next month when they all would have gone bad. Plus, more room in the bin for free cheese sticks and cream cheese.

    Default Any experience freezing ricotta?

Hy-Vee has a sale on ricotta and I have coupons. I'll definitely have lasagna next week... but can I stock up?

I checked here, but it wasn't directly addressed:
