Kind of like those packages of fully cooked bacon in the grocery store.
My bacon doesn't stick together when I freeze it this way.

Yeah, like it will ever make it to the freezer that way....

Heidi has one that's even more clear (add to this one) but dadgum I can't find it. For example? When you do those eggs, whip em up first and store in 2 C
for most uses; 4 or more, for omelets.

Does anyone know if you can freeze baby food? I'm guessing the glass Beechnut and Gerber ones are a no, but what about the plastic Gerber packs, can you freeze those?

I have frozen regular Tropicana and it was just fine. Those cartons like milk, juice, etc do fine freezing.

Question has anyone else encountered Organic Valley non-fat milk separating? It's the only type of milk I've had this happen with and only the non-fat.

How long do those usually last after thawing them out?

I recently froze a gallon of 1% milk, mostly just because the dude was skeptical that I could freeze and thaw milk and it'd still be okay to drink.

It was in there about 2 weeks, and after it thawed, we noticed that it tasted... richer than we were used to. We prefer 1% because 2% is too rich, and this tasted almost like 2%. Wasn't spoiled or anything, just heavy, even though we made sure to shake it and redistribute the fat.

Too bad I never see 1/2% milk anymore, then it'd be perfect. Well, it would if we still had any room in the freezer.

I dunno...now I'm curious. Maybe I'll toss a pack in the freezer later.

Yes, actually a couple of the packages suggest freezing and then eating them cold! (i think it was the "milkshake" variety.

Here's my question, what about Deli Creations? I have a bunch of coupons coming and we eat these like crazy. I am thinking of stocking up on the ones that are just crackers, lunch meat and cream cheese in a little sealed tub. What do you guys think, it should be ok right?

    Herbs, anyone?

I like to cook with fresh herbs, but I'm so sick of paying $0.99 or $1.49 for a huge bunch of cilantro, using it once and tossing the rest. Don't tell me to grow my own, I'm horrible at gardening and have failed miserably at even growing basil.

Can I vac seal it and then freeze?

Limes were 10 for $1 at a local market. Can I slice them into quarters, then flash freeze 'em? I will be dropping them in my water bottle. I think it should work.... I will let you know :)

    Yes you can.
We have a lemon tree. At the end of the season we pick lemons and use a juicer like you would for an orange and then pour it into ice cube trays then once they are frozen we put them in ziplock bags. We use them for almost anything that calls for lemon juice or just in water or on fish etc. So I don't see why limes would be any different
