The liquid products should freeze fine but you should remove some from the container before you freeze otherwise they might expand and burst.

I'm not sure about the Smartbalance but I freeze butter all the time. I don't know why this would be any different except maybe the oil might react differently than the cream in the butter. Freeze one and then thaw to test it.

Heidi has one that's even more clear (add to this one) but dadgum I can't find it. For example? When you do those eggs, whip em up first and store in 2 C
for most uses; 4 or more, for omelets.

I don't think you can freeze them. Well you can, but I don't think they re-mix very well after thawing.

I read somewhere that when you freeze a loaf of bread, place it in the freezer upside down, on its top. I have done this several times with great results. Just thaw it out right side up!

The fat free ones do not freeze well, the regular ones do great! Just shake them well after thawed and I would not use them for more then 2 weeks after thawed. This is what I do and it works great.

What is the point of freezing it upside down? Just wondering.

I honestly could not tell you, but it seems to work. Of course I haven't tried freezing it right side up either!! I am sort of new to this "stockpiling" stuff!

Can you freeze mozzarella? I have a lot of Sorrento because I got them at a great price but am scared to put them in the freezer.

I have frozen shredded mozarella but not the block. The shredded worked fine but I used it to cook with so it might be different if you aren't going to cook it.

I have frozen block cheeses and my experience has been mixed. Some brands crumble when you try to shred or slice it once thawed. If you plan to use the cheese in something like a casserole or on a salad than it will be okay (It may end up crumbled instead of shredded). If you want to slice it for sandwiches do it before freezing.
