Default Guidelines for the Recipe and Stockpile Forums

Welcome to the new and expanded
Recipe and Stockpile Forum.

Here are a few guidelines for navigating and posting:

Recipes.
If you have a favorite recipe you’d like to share, please post it under the category that best describes it. If you aren’t sure where to put it, just ask. If you haven’t tried a recipe yourself, please note that at the top of the page. And here’s a tip: manufacturer brand recipes, like Pillsbury, get tested hundreds of times before they are printed, so chances are they are really tasty, and fairly easy. Cookbook recipes may not be as well screened, and are more subjective to individual’s tastes. Some are fantastic, others, well, maybe the author really liked them.

Looking for a recipe? Use the “search thread” line on this forum to find recipes that use certain ingredients, or browse through the different recipes at your leisure.

Try a recipe? Love it, hate it, can’t wait to make it again? You can rate each recipe by selecting “rate this thread” on the forum menu, and choosing a rating. You can also post comments on any recipe thread, with hints, successes, or substitutions.

And of course, if you have a picture of the finished product, we’d love to see it!

Questions.
If you need some expert advice on recipes, what to do with your stockpile, or anything else (within reason), post it under “ask the experts”. And, everyone here is an expert on something, so if you have answers, or comments, feel free to respond!

Non-food Stockpile.
If you have a question, solution, or revelation on any non-food item (toothpaste, cleansers, hair coloring…) that you’ve stockpiled, or a great use for something, post it here!
