I made a whole bunch of these one year - I used a whole box of the super duper huge pads. I decorated them really cute with lace and bows made out of ribbon glued on with my glue gun. People really think they're slippers at first and then they turn them over and see the peelie thing, they die laughing (at least my friends and relatives do - LOL). The ones I used didn't have the line around the inside of the pad they were just totally flat. One set that I made got regifted at least 4 times that I know of. I also made angels out of tampons (with a handy dandy string for hanging them on the Christmas tree). Some people actually hung them on their tree. The funny part is that I had to buy three different brands and dip them in water to see which kind fanned out the best to make the angels dresses. DH saw them hanging in the shower to dry and just shook his head and said, "I don't even want to know." - LOL. I LOVE to give gag gifts and try to think of something new every year.
