I guess it would all depend on what you might need. For us, muffins would be something we'd never eat. As for soap, I still have some. Drugstore.com used to give free items quite a bit and what I often got was soap. Yes, it was often seasonal but I don't care.

My stockpile is mostly salsa, pasta sauce and canned veggies.
