Funstuff Dec - Building A Stockpile "Game"

Over time I have come to realize that there are others out there like me that want to live off of my stockpile but I don't have much of one. So I thought this would be a fun "game" to play. With the holidays coming up there will be tons of great sales out there and deals to go chase. This isn't going to be a challenge, it's all in good fun.

I will have this going until the end of the month. At the end of the month we as a group can decide if the "game" should run again.

Objective/Goal: To build a stockpile while spending as little as possible. Go for the deals on things that you can live off of such as baking items, canned goods, meat, etc.

Rules: There isn't any! (not to ignore any HCW rules )

Prize: Since this is all in good fun, there isn't one. If you had fun during the month and feel that you have accomplished something, then you WON the "game"!

Looks like we get a Wiki! Feel free to edit the wiki and add your name. You may use the Wiki to help keep up with your total OOP (not required) but please don't keep item lists on it as it will get too overload.

To help make things fun, include pictures of your loots. We all enjoy seeing stockpile porn.

    Let the "game" begin!!!!!

Today from Target, I added 2- 18 roll Cottonelle, 1- Huggies Wipes, and 4- Purina Beyond Dog Food.

So far I am starting the month off good with the exception that I spent $80 over all at Target. Did manage to walk out with 1- $5 GC & 1- $10 GC

Can you use a gift card to make your purchase after getting the $10 GC? Do they roll? I wasn't sure and did the deal twice, but didn't use any GC's to purchase.

I'm in again! I probably won't be doing much shopping though, as I'll be home for most of the month. Any shopping that I do will be stockpiling so I'll post if I get anything.

Yes you can use the GC from the previous purchase to buy your next one. I used to do it with the razors all the time.

Ok, Froggie I got some of DD's clothes washed in reg. Tide. I'll see what happens.

I am hitting up CVS again tomorrow I hope. Tide is prob gone by now but I'm hoping they got a nice stock on the truck today. DD4 is teething and the weather is cold making not feeling up to running around town.

I'm off to get the Dec thread going.
My DD is teething too. She is an "overachiever" trying to cut her 4 canine all at once. One has cut all the way through, finally, just 3 to go....and then of course the 2 yr molars are right around the corner.

I am in again this month. I really hope I can get a deal on baking stuff(flour, sugar, chocolate chips, etc.).

Made a trip to the doc yesterday and she has the start of a sinus infections just as Mommy predicted.
I have to say, I just love our ped! He knows that I know what I am talking about when it comes to my kids. And I do think he would let me know if he thought I was crazy.
I hope your DD gets through it pretty fast. DD4 is the first one that I have had this much issues with teething. DD3 gave me troubles when she cut the front 4 and that's it.

Well I have to run it in a bit.....
Joining my stockpile today from my Pubs run are 6 bags of chocolate chips and 8 boxes of cookie mix. I have more q's so I will be heading back for more. Also 2 10pk Caprisun.

Speaking of sugar..... The last time I was in WM they had this big display of sugar with a sign above saying $2.94!
