what do you stockpile that is store brand

Since I am starting over , I want to try to expand my focus and not stay so focused on just finding deals with my coupons like I did before. I really enjoyed using my coupons before and still do. I find amazing deals thanks to all of you, but at the same time I wanted to do more.

This time , I want to try to stockpile some store brands that my family likes as well as get the amazing deals too.

We have 2 IGA stores close by, for example, my 9 yr. likes their brand of waffles $1 bx. and this is cheaper than brand name w/ coupon sometimes.

I was also thinking it is 4 mos. until Chirstmas, I wanted to combine sales on store brand items and coupon sales items to stockpile more can goods for winter, such as green beans, corn.

So what are your tips?
What do you stock up on ?

We have Aldi stores around us, I haven't had any trouble with any of the items we've bought there. So if the sale price isn't cheaper than the generic price it isn't worth it to me (exception tampons & toothpaste ;) ).

Things I normally purchase generic:
-Drink mixes (like crystal light)
-Cheese (sliced & shredded)
-Cheese sticks
-Ground turkey
-Frozen chicken breasts
-Bread

That is all I can think of for now, will add more later if they come to mind.

My daughter likes the olives from Target. We bought a bunch when they were on sale. We also eat a lot of green beans and are not brand loyal. I have too many at the moment. But when my stock is low I will buy any that I see for a good price.
