Default Question: Is this a good stockpile deal?

I've found cottonelle 12 packs this week at Price Chopper for $6.99
The store offers a $5.99 coupon and I have the .75/1 cottonelle q which will double so my final price is $4.50 or .37 a roll. Is this a good enough deal to stock up on? I can get as many of these deals as I need because I have 40+ of these coupons. The only question is, should I do it?

I am fairly new to couponing. I have been doing it for about 5 months. What I have found is that sometimes I jumped at a deal only to find out later that it wasn't the best deal.

What I have learned to do is be a bit moderate unless you know it is a killer deal. Do you like that brand? Do you need it now?

If you need it now, maybe buy some, but not all.

Are the 12 packs double rolls? That would make the deal better for me. It seems okay, but not stellar.

I hope others will chime in.

I think $0.37/roll is a good price, but I wouldn't go crazy. Then again, my family doesn't go thru tp very quickly.

I'm fairly new to all this but from what I have read, $4.50 for a 12 pack is an okay deal. However, if they are "big" rolls or "double" rolls then it is a really good deal. I hope more people chime in about this because tp is one of the hardest things for me to figure out. I think I remember reading somewhere that if it comes to 0.25/roll or less then it is a good deal. You divide the price by the number of rolls if they are regular size and divide by 2 times the number of rolls if they are "big".

Well I ended up going and found out there was a 3.50 catalina when you bought 2 packs! This brought the price down to .23 a roll! Yes, I DEFINITELY stocked up. (How do you manage not to use much tp? In our house the stockpile of tp is a never-ending downward spiral!)

I don't think there's been great deals on TP lately, and it sounds like you totally scored! Besides, I always think of it this way - ANY savings is good!!

I think 4.50 for a 12 pack of toilet paper is a good deal - I would stock up at that price.
