Welcome to all of the newbies. I have only been doing this for 2 months. It is so much fun and these ladies are great at helping!!!

I am in again, but am going for $600. I started at $800 and went down to $400 last month. Doubtful that I will make that. I think $600 is realistic for me!!!

There are a lot of challenge threads on this site, so a bunch of us have thrown our hats into most of them. As far as the "living off your stockpile" or LOYS goes, we set a goal of what we think we will spend for the month on groceries, hba, eating out, etc. My goal is $400, so in my siggy you will see $200/$400, meaning I have spent $200 of the $400 of my goal. Once you go over your goal (I do this just about every month) you are in the purple zone, but you are by no means kicked out of the challenge. There is no winners here, we just like to chat and tell about our spending. It somewhat keeps us accountable.
