Hair Coloring
I color my hair and so does my mother. I've only been collecting coupons for a month and already have a gazillion for hair coloring. The great thing is that most of them last several months before they expire. Another great thing is that they seem to be a pretty regular coupon that comes out. What I don't get is the best approach to using them. I'd like to try to stockpile it, but don't really know the best way.
Does anyone here color their hair? How do you go about using your q's to get the best deals on the product?

Re: Hair Coloring
I color both my DD's and my own hair. Hair color is not something I "stockpile" per say, but I do keep a few boxes on hand. When possible, I like to combine a coupon with a rebate offer. Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS occasionally run rebate offers. Also, the tried and true combine a coupon with a sale approach.
I also discovered a Revlon "outlet" type store that sells the "left overs" when packaging changes. It was in Apex, NC, but recently moved 1 hour away. :-( I would buy a frosting kit there for $3 that sells for about $7.00 at Walmart. You can google and see if something like that is in your area.

Re: Hair Coloring
Thanks for the reply. I checked for the Loreal store, but can't seem to get the right info on it. I'll have to try later after I've done my errands.
"stockpile" is a bit strong for hair coloring, isn't it? But I really meant what you seem to do... "having a few on hand". Since it's done monthly a few would last three months or so. I also have hair past my butt, so it takes two. But my daughter and I are about to cut both off and donate. I haven't had a real hair cut since I was pregnant (2005 Spring). I've trimmed my own ends... but... anyway, I digress... as it is now, I have a lot of hair, so the q's are great.
Ideally, I could combine a sale with q with loyalty rewards.
Again, thanks for the reply!

Re: Hair Coloring
Just a FYI, I read that hair colors can last for 3 years. I usually will wait and combine a great sale with q's. Usually will get at least 3-4 at a time. If I have some already but the sale is that good that I can't resist, lol, since it will last I will get more. Now I really need to color mine before the weekend!!
