Your experience with bulk butcher purchases?

I'm thinking about buying a locker pack from a butcher - I'm just curious about other people's experiences with this:

• Does the meat always come individually packaged?
• How well does the packaging stand up to freezing?
• Typically how long can I expect the meat to be good for in my freezer?

you usually get it wrapped in freezer paper individually for the beef..but if it includes chops or hotdogs , chicken it may be in one lump...but it should not be frozen so you should be able to pkg it to your meal size requirements... so if you vacume pack or wrap it good it will stay just like any other pkg meat you wrap...'

you should ask the butcher these questions before purchase! also they should be able to cut to your specifications....
