Awesome ideas!! I am going to forward this to a few of my friends!! Thank you!!
I came across this article in an old magazine that Mom gave me today. Thought it would be nice to share as I am sure that someone out there has a huge stockpile of dryer sheets - ok more than just someONE.
1. Treat tired tootsies to a refreshing dip. Put two new dryer sheets in a large bowl and fill with warm water. Soak feet for 10 minutes to allow softeners in the sheet to moisturize your skin.
2. Infuse your home with fresh scent. Tape a dryer sheet or two over the air conditioning vent.
3. Dissolve burnt on grill grime. Line a kiddie pool or bath tub with four or five used dryer sheets and set grill racks on top. Fill with warm water and soak overnight. The next morning, just rinse and wipe clean.
4. Keep TV screens crystal clear longer. Wipe down the screen with a used dryer sheet. In addition to picking up dust like a magnet, the sheet leaves behind positive electrons that neutralize dirt attracting static.
5. Prevent thread from tangling. Pull a threaded sewing needle thru a used dryer sheet. It lubes up the needle and thread so it does not tangle.
6. Stick it to stubborn soap scum. Use a dampened new dryer sheet to wash down the shower. The softening agent in the sheet loosen soap scums bond and the mildly abrasive weave of the fabric buffs away the grunge.
7. Whisk away specks on specs. Wipe eyeglass/sunglass lenses with a used dryer sheet. This neutralizes and lifts dust and grease without scratching the surface.
8. Lengthen the life of your lint trap. Wipe a used sheet along the lint trap. It grabs the miniscule particles that get lodged between the screen.
9. Safely sweep up sawdust. Wipe up sawdust mess with a few used dryer sheets (attach to yardstick with elastic band to extend reach). The static charge draws the powder like matter to the fabric.
10. Eliminate rainy day dog odors. Wipe down the dog with a used dryer sheet to absorb wate and stagnant smells.

i put them in the dresser drawers and my closets too, keeps the clothes smelling good!
During certain times of the year, my horses get static electricity when I brush them. Wiping them a bit with a dryer sheet seems to make it go away.
What wonderful tips. Thanks for sharing.
I use them to wipe down my flyaway hair - when I have been in the humidity or really bad hair days
love the lint screen idea, thread and wiping down the shower - great ideas
I have tried the bbq grill / stove drip bowl suggestion and it didn't do so hot for me.
What am I doing wrong, maybe the brand I used ? I don't use cling and when I tried it along time ago - the directions were for the cling brand.
I used 2048 q's FEB 2011 because of SFShopper

The queen of April Fools was here.,,,< I like it so it stays
I put one in my car.
right now, i don't have a clothes dryer :( so, i put a sheet in the washer with the clothes. now, i don't have to worry about missing the rinse cycle and my clothes are not like cardboard when i take them from the line!
I know what you mean, and I use them on the horses and dogs. I wipe down the horse comb with them, too, which helps.
I was looking at this one too...I'm not sure how it would work, chemically, not better than Shout or other cleaners, I think...but I'm not sure.
I do use sheets on the computer and tv screens, and it works great. There aren't too many things that are safe to use on screens, and it does keep the dust off with the antistatic. I would only use a USED one, though, the unused ones have too much stuff on them and they can smear and damage the screens.

If you store extra bedding or summer/winter clothes use a dryer sheet to keep them smelling fresh.
If you have any wallpaper to take down rub it first with a wet dryer sheet. I am not sure why but it works great. We did it with a wall border at my Grams. It came off like nothing.
