Hot chocolate shelf life

I have 3 boxes left of Swiss Miss hot chocolate that expired in Apr/Jun of this year, are they still good?

I should think they'd be fine. As long as the packages themselves haven't been exposed to extremes in temperatures/humidity, they should be okay. It's really just sugar & cocoa powder, isn't it? I don't think either of those things go bad.
Also, the "expiry" date on a lot of dry goods isn't really an expiry date, but a 'sell by' date, which is when the manufacturer guarantees optimal taste of their product.
... I make my own hot chocolate - even cheaper than buying on sale! lol - and it will last indefinitely in an airtight container. Well, it would if my darling son wasn't addicted, anyhow! ;)

I have some w/ a Dec. 2009 X date and the kids had it last night and it was fine! drink up! :o)

I read that it lasts 2 years after it expires.

awesome, this is good to hear. I have some swiss miss that expired 10/2010 and certainly didn't want to discard it....will have some tonight...if it kills me, I'll let yall know
