I will be back for September and will be keeping track of things. I plan to finish out August by getting the remainder of my house in order so I know what I have and what I need.

I am going to go with $300 for the month since I have not done any real shopping in a couple of weeks, I have only shopped for my daughters dorm room and things I need at that time. (Also spent some on myself for the first time in months/years).

So, $300 for the month and working on more rebates.

See you all in 7 days.

Stepping out this month so I can get myself back on track or put myself on a new track, how ever things work out. With a new baby coming I need to do something now!

Have no fear, I will be around to see how things are going.

MSD - I like your idea and that's sounds like what I have in the plan of things. I'll see how it works for me.

Another goal I have for myself is to stay the heck away from WM! I hate that place but yet I still find myself going there.

I'll be here this month. Not really living off the stockpile but it's helping me keep our cost down. LOL It's hard for us to stockpile meat when the freezer is always filled with who knows what.

Back with a budget plan in awhile. Have to count what sides an veggies we have.

I've had a heck of a time figuring out what my goal is for September. If it weren't for the changes Publix is making to their coupon policies, I'd drop to $125, if not lower. But fewer and fewer Publixes are accepting their own expireds, so although I'm still using Publix expireds now, I keep expecting that anyday now I won't be able to find a store that takes them. So, with that said, I'm staying at $150.

    I am bumping up to $300 (2 adults, 2 kids and a fur-baby)
September is the start of our "Holidays" we have a birthday every month thru February. I am hoping for some soda sales around labor day so I will stock up to last us till November.. hopefully.
DS1 is in T-ball for the first time, so I don't know how that will play into our budget?! It's gonna be a wild month, just hoping I'm up for the challenge!

I am going to raise my goal to $400 since I still have 2 in diapers.

My goals for the month is a lot of menu planning and to not eat out!

And I am going to try to use cash only. It is so easy for me to swipe the debit card or write a check. Sometimes it feels like I'm not using my own money. But when I have to hand over those dollar bills it hurts more LOL.

And I am also going to try to do more rebates. You ladies inspired me! I love how much you get back doing those.

I will not be posting on here until September 4th, but I will keep my receipts and post my OOP then.

After many months of being missing, I am back. I am going to throw myself into the ring at $300, that's for food, household, and pets. Hoping for less but no more than $300.

I am in. I'm expecting lots of rebates this coming month and we HAVE to try to get the freezer emptied incase of a move. I know what I have left in my grocery account for the year, and I want extra for November/December. My biggest expense will be what I have to purchase for canning. (salsa, apples, pickles etc).

    September goal: $200.
