how many do you buy ? Chicken @.99 LB

Both of our local IGA 's are have chicken breast on sale for .99LB which with 4 breast per pk that is $ 4.60-$5 a pack.

Last week , I bough 3 pk and we have already went through 2 pks. I am thinking about thurs. going and getting a few more - maybe 3-4 packs($15-$20) .
How many would you buy?

We eat mostly chicken so I keep a good supply in the freezer all the time. If the 99 lb is a good deal for you, then stock up on as much as you have room in your freezer for, or as much room as you're willing to use for it.

Unpackage them and freeze them individually or two breast to a package for ease of future use and will also take up less space

Buy enough to last so that you will still have some around when another sale comes - then you never pay over a certain price. That's how I plan my purchases, I make sure I have enough to bridge to another sale which I figure will come along in 4-6 weeks time.

I have never seen boneless chicken breasts that cheap. I would buy as many as I could fit in my freezer! :-)

breasts are great because you can do so much with them. Got a knife? Slice them lengthwise in 3, pound them, and you have cutlets! Dice for stirfries. BBQ the breasts. Throw em in the crockpot . etc etc.

I buy several packs of chicken but I ate so much chicken a few months ago that now I HATE chicken, lol I can't eat it for anything even my famous Chicken Cordon Bleu. My family likes it so I buy it. I am now addicted to ground beef and I don't know why, lol
