    Default Stockpile prices?

Is there a thread yet that shows what a "good stock up price" for something is such as

    Toilet paper per roll
    paper towels
    hand soap

    etc....

if not can we start one? because I would like to have a list to refer to when a sale comes along and I want to know if its a good price
We could even go as far as Fabulouse stock up price, good stock up price, ok stock up price...

    Thanks!

That sounds like a good idea. those are things i do not have a stockpile of. Of course hubby is picky with TP but when he leaves to reclass for 4 mths u better beleive ill stock up on whatever TP i can get a good price on. And the amount of paper towels we use with 3 cats 2 dogs and a 3 and 4 yr old haha. Usually paper product coupons around here are low value. The only deal i ever got was at harris teeter during triples for the viva when they had a 85 cent off one.
Evidently the angel price at walmart is a good price. On rollback for 4.00 and a 50 cent coupon. I think its a 12 pk i cant remember for sure.

I think there is a thread around here somewhere on this very topic. The thing about this is prices are regional, so stock up prices will vary depending on where you are.

here's one: What Do You Consider Stockpile Prices?

check out the whole stockpiling 101 forum it has a lot of info. But i suggest you keep your own price sheet too, because everyone's sales and sale prices vary and even coupon values vary from region to region, also whether your stores double or even triple coupons. I don't really have a master list for most things, but i did start tracking organic prices in my hcw blog. I do keep a lot of the stockpile prices memorized in my own handy dandy computer: aka, my brain, lol! But definitely start a price book, that way you will know what is a good deal say on toilet paper: .49/for 4 double roll pack of marcal, an awesome deal, like .19 for the pack or even better FREE and what isn't a great stock up price for the pack, like 1.00 a pack/ a/c and sales of course!

for hand soap i would say .50 per container is good in my area, but i think i will try the bodywash in the pump unless i can get the handsoap free.

paper towels, FREE to .49, and .49 only if it is like VIVA or something, but I don't go through them much, so 6 rolls probably last me a year or more...SO i only buy them if they are pretty much free, but did stock up on viva towels some months back that were .49 a/c at walmart.

I need to branch out more. I know walgreens had/has charmin on clearance at a really good deal. But im sure by now most stores are prob sold out and that particular package is being discontinued so it wont be restocked. I need a special envelope with extra cash for when unexpected good deals arise. The bst seem to pop up when im broke!
