QUESTION Would you get casters for your stockpile shelves?

I am indulging in some kick-butt stockpile shelves from Home Depot.

Would you get the casters to be able to move the shelving around (for cleaning, etc)? It would be another $54, but I don't want to kick myself for not getting them. If I were to get them, I want it to be at the beginning, rather than having to unload all of the shelving and add them later if I decide I need them.

I would get them - I know it is expensive, but I think it would be worth it to be able to maove the shelves. My shelves are in the garage and all kinds of crazy stuff builds up underneath them.

oh i would think these would be super! and yes on the casters as in mho you could pull them out and turn them around when full and use the first in up ! or at least check the dates instead of unloading the fronts to see...

I love the shelves.I voted :No, I could do plenty of stuff with $ 54.
I guess I said no because, all my storage shelves are in the kitchen.
I have bath room items stored in the bath room.I vac.under them once ever 3 months.

    I actually decided against them.

The weight limit on the casters was 600 lbs. The shelves alone are 63 lbs assembled. Add on the stockpile stuff and it can easily go over 600. The weight limit for each set of shelves without casters was 3600 lbs.

They sit a few inches off the floor, so I should be able to get a vacuum cleaner under there regularly.
