I have been following you whenever I had time.. I would love to get in on February's challenge. I think to be realistic I will say $300.00 as I have at least $40.00 of that allocated for promised lunches once a week for my 2 teenagers. plus need to stock up on meat again.

So $300.00 for 4 Adult eaters and 2 Woff Woffs who love treats...

PS going on an interview tomorrow wish me luck need to switch my West Coast hours don't work too well living on the East Coast.

I think I'm in for Feb. But I need a clarification.

I have some excess in my grocery account from Nov/Dec. Does that count as cash on hand, and I don't go into the red until that is gone? I know I don't count it as green to start right?

I will have to up my goal because dh and I are NOT on the same page (shoot we aren't in the same chapter) on the stockpiling goals. I've been trying to save money, he's wanting to stock up all we can afford and have room for because our budget will be getting very tight in a few months when we move.

But the challenge does really help me keep my stockpile rotated. I've used up a lot of items the last couple months that were getting old.

So, my goal I think is $250 - Subject to increase if I find out our soldier son is coming to visit and I "have" to cook all his favorites since he will be deploying again soon.

I have NEVER done this before so it should be interesting.

I am going to shoot for $400 .. my kids have a week vacation this month so this number might not be realistic but I'll try.

I have a couple of questions:

1. I sell on Ebay .. is that considered "rebate" type funds? Can I take existing funds out of my Paypal account to put towards my groceries?

2. make a note to myself to pay in advance for the boy's school lunches ..

I just hope there will be many CAT deals in February!

Count me in for February, please. Put me down for $200 for a family of 3. I will be starting the month with $100 in Visa GC's and nothing else. The goal for the month is going to be to really use what I have on hand......unless there's a deal I can't pass up. Glad to be back with y'all again.
