Just requested RA rebates, so that's $60 that'll be coming in, and a $35 prepaid visa...who knows if it will be enough to keep me in the green though :shrug7:. From what I can tell (haven't been keeping the best track lately:sad:) I'm expecting another $188 that was sent out in December.

Looks to me like you will be Green again. You just overbudget so you don't disapoint yourself. I do the opposite, I set myself up for failure.

I'm in again for February but I am shooting high!!!! I went way over last month, the stockpile food is low and I will be out of all animal food right at the beginning of the month. SO I will shoot for $500-I will still be using rebate checks and almost all cash that comes in towards my vacation fund so its strictly grocery and hba budget. Feeding teenagers is hard work!!!!

Im in again! Goal will be $250 again. Let's all pray the milk prices go down! LOL

This challenge does make you think about spending so quickly. The kids keep asking can we go out to eat and I keep saying, nope, we got food in the house! LOL

I can take a hint: 2 out of 3 months I failed to make my goal, so it's time to raise the bar a little. Since it's a short month & I can't think of any food-related events, I'll give $150 a try.

Can't let you all do this without me. I'm taking mine down to $150 because we are stocked(at the moment) on the pet food. We'll see how that works being dairy, produce and meat are all raising down here. If I could just find that friendly hunter with an extra deer.
