Re: I've stockpiled and now I'm MOVING! If you do not take it be prepared for it to be used, given away, thrown away or otherwise used/moved/dealt with as they see fit. I have this problem with my mom all the time with the stuff I have stored in her barn (even confined to one stall she just can't handle not touching it and doing as she wants). So unless you are willing to let it go (and you don't sound like it) you need to bring it with you.
This may or may not be feasible and cost effective for you, whether its renting a moving truck, storage or just replacing it later and selling it now.
I know I moved my stockpile in November. I have a couple boxes of HBA, two large reusable totes of shampoo/conditioner, a tote of oral care (brushes, paste, wash), a stack of KY giftboxes, stacks of paper products, etc. It all got brought to the new apartment and not boxed and left at my parents because I know better and we already give some to them.
I think leaving some or all of it with your family would be a nice gesture, but its up to you.
Start doing some research about the stores near your new temporary home and see if it might be easy to rebuild your stockpile instead of moving it. |
