2009- What Was The Worst Item You Totally Stocked Up On?

Well I didn't actually purchase this but my FIL passed away...and for some reason the man felt the need to buy cases and cases of food....not for him...but to pass on to us when he died....oye.

So my DH went out to get as much of his stuff as he could (we live 2 days away) and decided to bring some of the food along. Well he didn't really look that well at what he was bringing...and brought 6 cases of pork n beans.

My kids won't even eat pork n beans. My DH has been gagging them down every day for months. And now they are expiring...but he just keeps gagging them down.

Those Bon Appetit noodle meals in a bowl - no one would eat them. I ended up donating to a food pantry.

Reeses Puffs cereal
My dd said she really really liked the cereal and when it was free with overage I went nutso on it. And now she's over it. And i've tried it, it's ok at first but not so good after a while. lol

I wish I had stocked up more on poptarts. But only the smore kind. I have cinnamon sitting in my cupboard that I'm sick of. But I never get sick of smores.

I would say taco seasonings and tortillas for myself. I have about f50+ of the seasonings and 10+ bags of tortillas plus a bunch of kits and the thought of having tacos makes me want to hurl. I am all tacoed out.

I bought wayyyyyy to much Kraft salad dressing in general but when it's a $$ maker you do what you gotta do!

I ended up selling most of it in my garage sale after my family refused to take any more off my hands =D

Excedrin and those RX vitamins. I got them because they were free/mm and for those points on the vitamins to get more coupons. They all expired in the last few months, and I ended up throwing them all away.

Canned Chili. It was really cheap, but I still have some from early last year (they are good for 3-4 years) because we almost never eat it. Sometimes I'll open a can and eat some, then end up throwing the rest out.

Those blueberry muffin poptarts. Barf! They have a white goo in the middle and are just horrible. I also agree on those Ronzini pouches--absolutely the worst thing I've ever had.

That canned chili is yummers mixed in some melted velveeta and then put over nachos or dipped.

I went way overboard on Poppycock when it was really cheap at Walgreens. Never again. Everywhere I look, I run into a bag of Poppycock -- and nobody is eating it. I've given scores of the stuff away, and no one will take anymore
