QUESTION Volume Stockpiling/Shopping

Some of us have larger families or are buying for an organization so have a different experience. Instead of needing 20 Powerades, we need 60 or 80. Actually, for our family, our stockpile is limited by how many we can manage to buy. I'd like to buy more but, either the store's inventory is completely depleted or we are restricted as to the number of coupons we can use.

Unfortunately, store restrictions on coupon use effect large families the most which I find really frustrating. For example, in our area we can only use 3-4 identical coupons per day. For some items like pouch potatoes, three pouches isn't enough for all of us for one dinner! Sigh.

Another frustration that I've not come up with a group solution for is managing the volume of coupons I use. Sometimes I have 60+ identical coupons.

So let's talk about strategies for volume stockpiling and shopping! I'd love to know how others manage!

I get to know the managers in each store that I shop at and explain my situation. I find most tend to be very helpful whenever possible. Many stores will do special orders for me and most prefer that I ask at Customer Service if I want to buy a large volume. If they have cases in the back they just bring them out on carts instead of putting them on the shelves and me taking them off - saves a lot of time for both of us. They have even added up the coupons and entered them as one mfr coupon. super fast checkouts then!

I shop Bi-lo's they will let you use 10 of the same coupons. If I need 20 items of the same item.I make 2 transactions while I'm there. They are nice about doing it.It also helps if you get to know the managers & cashiers.I shop my bi-lo's every day so they know me well as the coupon lady. They are suprised by my saving all the time.Like the day I payed 3.51 for 10 boxes of 40ct load Surf. The cashier was like you are a great shopper. Thanks to HCW.
