Default how?!

I still don’t understand how you all do so well! I live in south Florida and shop Publix and Target. I don’t know if anyone here does double or triple coupon. Is there anyone in this area that can point me in a better direction? :shrug7:

My best advice is to read the forums of the stores you have.

Are Target and Publix the only stores you have?

For HBA deals I go to Walgreens. I just started stockpiling a few months ago and already I have enough shampoo&conditioner, toothpaste, deoderant, lotion, razors, and toothbrushes to last me over a year and paid less than $100 OOP for it all.

The only grocery store I have in this area is a BiLo. They double coupons, but really good deals are still hard to come by.

It takes a lot of time...I shop at Wags and Publix, once you get your necessities, I only (for the most part) shop the BOGO at Publix and use any overage for meat etc. I also have enough shampoo, toothpast, lotion, kleenex, razors, etc to last at least a year...Hang in there, it will be worth it. My average at Publix is 20.00 and save 95.00.

Another thing to consider is how far you are willing to drive. I've found that I'm willing to travel further if it's going to mean really, really cheap food. With the wider perimeter, my list of possible stores has greatly expanded.

Plus, it just takes time to build up your stockpile. And the price you're willing to pay for things will also go down. I used to think I was getting a good deal on peanut butter if it was less than $1.00. Now I don't want to buy it if it's more than 50 cents!

I am in FL also. I shop mainly Wags and Publix to stockpile. You will find AWESOME deals in both of these stores even though FL doesn't double/triple. A good example of the fabulous deals is this week you can get FREE Kellogg's cereal at Publix. Therefore, I am stockpiling as much as I can get. I am currently at 20 boxes, but we go through more than a box a week, so I will continue to get more.

Here is the Publix Form: Publix under all of the Sticky: you will see Publix: GDA Kellogg's Apple Jacks or Froot Loops from 11/11 - 11/17

I do shop in other stores on rare occasions to stockpile but I can tell you most of the items you need are in these stores. Using BOGO, store, and manu factor's coupons are the BEST and normally make the items FREE or MM's.

I go to Target and Publix most frequently. I thought it would be better to start small and work up to more stores? CVS messed up processing my prom pictures many years ago, just after they changed from Eckerd; now I have a hard time going in there. I don't even have to pass an intersection to get to Walgreens, but it seems complicated with the rewards... I need to read more about it. There are at least 8 super close Publix stores and 4 Super Targets, and 1 regular Target. I have 2 Kmarts, Albertsons, Winn Dixie, Sears Essentials, and many Hispanic grocery stores. I also have a Costco membership and a BJs membership.

I also still have some guilt over getting a good deal. I need to end that quickly! I felt like a thief in line at Target today for my Leap Frog Alphabet Pal, but as soon as I got in the car I called up my friends!

Wags deals aren't too hard, if you do a little reading up on them first.

I like WAGs b/c you can do the deals over and over, unlike at CVS.

Walgreens is having several things after Register Rewards on Wed, Thur, Fri of Thanksgiving week.

I'm using the opprotunity to stock up on a few things.

If you are interested in the items and don't currently have any RRs, here is what I would do.

Transaction #1
Johnsons' softwash $5.99
Nivea for men shave gel 2.49
Right Guard Antipersperant 2.49

Total $10.97 (+tax)- Get back $6 RR, 2- $2.50 RR's

Transaction #2
Infusium 23 Hair Care $4.99
Aquafresh Cavity Protection toothpaste $1.99
Dove Visibly Smooth Deo $3.99

Total $10.97 add filler - Use RR's from T1 to pay, the only OOP will be the cost of the filler plus Tax

Then continue to roll T1 and T2 back and forth, but be sure to add a small filler each time.

You can do it as many times as your WAGs will allow. I plan on going in 2x each day and doing 2 transactions each time.

At the end of the three days you could have a fairly decent stockpile of deoderant, bodywash, toothpaste, shaving gel, and toothpaste. And your only cost OOP would be the $10.97 from the first transaction, plus taxes and the cost of the filler from each transaction (there is a list of cheap fillers in the Wags forum).

If you have any questions, just let me know.
