Yes, you can stockpile litter. I store my Tidy Cats in the bags in totes in my garage. I have 3 large totes filled with bags of litter. I recently found the 25 lb bags on sale and with the $1.00 off coupons, got it for $1.50 a bag!!! I also buy the scoopable litter and store it in the garage in totes. I have 5 cats and go through a lot of litter. So get stocked up and that's one thing you will not have to worry about.
Publix will do some pretty good deals on Tidy cats scoopable. They go bogo for 6.99 and the past 2 times tjhe jugs have had 2.00/1 couons. 2.99 for 2 jugs.
Thanks to the Publix sale and the peelie of $2.00/1, I have 24 jugs in my stockpile. I only have one cat so I have enough for along time. This is stored in the laundry room.
We have stockpiled for the past year over a hundred bags (10 lb. bags), in our garage and in our old small barn. We did pile the bags onto plastic sheeting so that the bags would not take on moisture. I think we are down to about 15 bags now as we moved the last batch from the barn to the garage. So, I know that one can successfully store even bags for at least a year. If you can get some kind of deal on litter as it is so costly, then go for it, if you have some kind of storage place.
