Mail Re: NOVEMBER challenge: Living Off Of Your Stockpile. 3rd weeks starts tomorrow!

Got my last $5.00 rebate check from sc johnson today.
Spent $15.80 at shoprite and picked up another free turkey.

I cooked up 2 of the pumpkins we grew this season to use for pumpkin pie.

Made macaroni and cheese out of the odd pieces of cheese in the fridge and leftover cheese from making cheese fries. The macaroni was free after coupon (from this summer). Turned out pretty good.

I still have freezer space after bringing home 2 turkeys!!!!!
    I actually have freezer space!
This is a wonderful thing and I have all of you to thank so Thanks!

I just stopped typing to go look at the space in the freezer again. Then I called the boys to show them. Now they're fighting over the orange hat.

Did my grocery shopping for the week:

Giant Eagle oop: $75.xx savings of 41%
    celery
    onions
    strawberries
    oranges
    bananas
    mushrooms
    broccoli
    walnuts
    Johnsonville brats
    milk
    orange juice
    wine
    Heluva dip (free after q)
    bread (free after q)
10 boxes of cereal (my DH goes through a box of cereal in about 2 days)
    Energizer batteries (free after q)
    4 boxes garlic bread
    2 2-liters of Diet Rite
    4 12-packs of Dr. Pepper

Then I went to Kroger and spent $14.xx
2 packs pork sirloin cutlets (on sale for $1.49/lb)
    Duracell batteries (free)
    2 Johnson's Buddies Bars (free)
    Kroger Mexican cheese
    napkins
    McCormick sea salt grinder (free)
    more milk

So add $90.00 to my oop total. It's getting down to the wire! I'm enjoying the challenge but I am still in stock-up mode, not living off my stockpile. My freezer is more full now than it was at the beginning of the month. Oh well, hopefully I will still meet my spending goal!

Ds informed he doesn't need diapers any more. I am surprised that he is pretty much potty trained in a week. Was not even expecting this to go so fast. Dd took forever but I think I tried to start too early with her. We went to Bass Pro Shop last night for 3 hours with ds in underwear and he stayed dry. I am going to save so much money not buying diapers and pull ups!

My momma's birthday is today (42). Yes she had me young. I'm going to dig through my stockpile and make her a nice gift bag from all the glade candles, make up and body wash, etc. She's a girly girl so she'll love it.

Now to go get some caffeine in me. I'm teaching the preschool Sunday school class this morning. Pray for me!
