A perfect fit for this challenge!

Good Luck. I think this well at least let me know where I am spending money. I just lose track midmonth and "run out".
I'll probably just print a calendar and have my dh and kids write their favorite dish 2 times a month and fill in the other days. On Sundays we trade dinners with my SIL's. I just need to have enough meat and snacks (fruit/goodies) on hand and quick lunches.

    Please someone here....help us!!!!

I have started planning our meals a month at a time. About the middle of the month, I will print out a calendar for the following month and start filling it in. My freezer holds about 6 weeks of meat/chicken, etc. so I already know what I'm starting with at that time. Then I use the following forumula and before you know it is done. Mondays and Tuesdays I have nothing going on, so those are the days I cook more involved meals. Wednesday is children's bible study so we have to leave early, so it is fast & easy (like hamburger helper, etc.). Thursdays we don't get home until 5:30 or later so it's Crock Pot day. Friday is fun food or breakfast for dinner. Saturday is Dad cooks and Sunday is easy kid food, since we have a big lunch after church. I'm sure that was way more info than you wanted, but it helps me keep track of everything.

    Good luck.

I am going to set my budget at $250 for the month of November. Hoping to stay under that but want to stock up on a few turkeys and baking supplies.

Have my menu made out until the 21st of the month.

    Menu for next week
Sunday Pork Roast, mashed pot., corn
Monday Tater Tot Casserole, peas, salad
Tuesday Tuna Noodle casserole, green beans, biscuits
Wednesday Turkey Burgers, sweet pot. fries, jello
Thursday Pork Cutlets, rice and veggies
Friday Leftovers if not enough will make waffles, sausage, eggs
    Saturday Steak, baked potatoes, Salad.

Only need hamburger buns for the burgers on Wednesday. I will make them in the bread machine.
Might need to get some salad if the stuff here does not hold out that long.
Otherwise everything is here in the stockpile.

Breakfast consists of cereal, HM waffles, HM pancakes, muffins, oatmeal or eggs.
Lunches DH and DD take there lunches of leftovers, soup or sand. DS eats whatever is here and I eat at work for free.

Way to go! Having a meal plan of some sort is one area that I like to keep well planned. It takes so much pressure off of me knowing what meals I have all the items for. I write a general list according to our activities and plans and what I have in the freezer. I don't always make the meal on the day I planned, but I know I have the supplies on hand that way.

I need to make a meal plan for Nov. I dropped out of the Nov challenge since we have to go empty our house in Fla. and won't be home part of the month. (and we all know our college age dd won't have much in the way of groceries in her apartment where we will be staying LOL). But can't wait to see how everyone does.

Do you use Outlook or other calendar program on your computer? Just use that. or google "menu plan calendar download".

I have a cheapo wipe off calendar I got I think at the Target $1 section or the CVS $1 section.
