Birthday weekend.. I spent spent spent.. But I only spent money that I got as gifts for my bday so I wont add in the cash, nor subtract the spending. I plan on spending the rest on xmas gifts.

It was fun to spend a little on some stuff I had wanted to buy but wouldnt dare (ie.. Good wine!!)

Did stockpile a bit at walgreens so spend 2.33 got 10 bare naturales shawdows for .16 each and some tax on my other goods paid for with RR..

Hope all had a good week!

I temporarily traumatized my son this weekend. Poor kid. I always cut dh and ds hair myself. Dh keeps his head shaved and ds I do the best I can with it since he will not sit still for a barber. I should mention that even with my glasses I am still half blind lol. I got the sides and back of ds hair all trimmed up and went to do the top and nearly had a stroke, turns out the #8 I picked up was actually a #3. So now ds hair is pretty short. He looked in the mirror and kept rubbing his head saying 'I crying, I crying' Atleast it grows pretty fast!

Spent .62 at Wags yesterday for newspaper and soda.

Went to Food Giant this morning after taking dd to school.

    20 Powerade
    2 Tony's Pouches
    24 pk Nestle water

    $5.69 saved $21.24

    New November Total $101.57

I feel your pain I cut DS1 and 2's hair and I have had to bald DS1 and 2 because the little boogers would not stop moving sigh Hubs want not to happy, I wasn't either they looked..not cool is the nicest word I can think of.
My husband is black and DS1 has this not regular hair not black hair that is kind of kinky and puffy. Nothing I put in his hair works for longer than 4 hrs. He does not like for me to cut his hair either he tells me Mom I like big hair and to top it off Dh likes to pick it out and give him the Afro look.
I figure by the time they actually care about how there hair looks I will have mastered the fade and edging. I say I have about 8-10 years for DS1 who is 4.

    Updated totals from the weekend:

$0.88 at Acme for ground turkey (actually, they paid me to take it; got a survey offer for $2 off my next order!)
$112.73 in two trips to ShopRite. That included 4 4-packs of Duracell AAs, two cans of Dole pineapple chunks, a bag of Halls' cough drops, qa package of YoCrunch 100 calorie packs (YUCK, BTW), a roll of Marcal TP and a package of Marcal napkins for free :D. Several other really good deals, too. 50% total savings for the two runs!

Updated November total: $326.18/$200 (way, way over budget!)

Oy the home haircut horror stories - I tried cutting my DH hair without a guard on the clippers (can't remember why, we probably couldn't find them) just a couple of days before our son was born - the result was much laughing and crying (on my part, he didn't really care). The pictures from our hospital stay with DS bring back such memories - but mostly because of the terrible haircut.

Transferred $10.50 to checking from PP trade completed this weekend :D Makes new monthly total $.20.

I'm working on a scenario for SW - they have some good deals I'd like to take advantage of, but would require spending (gasp!). I may chicken out on spending money, or just be too lazy to do it.

Does anyone have some good recipes for Fruit Cobbler, Fruit Crisp and Pumpkin Seeds? I need to use up some of my pie filling(peach and cherry) and SO really likes pumpkin seeds so I decided I would try to make them from the leftover Halloween pumpkin.

LOL. When dh first decided to shave his head I was against it but now it's the only way I like his hair. I always do no guard. Poor ds though has really blonde hair though so this bald thing is not working.
