HAPPY DANCE Re: NOVEMBER challenge: Living Off Of Your Stockpile. 1/3 of the way!!!

Okay, on the way out of Hyvee I saw some commotion....

So I asked them to hold the items until I could come back with my coupons.

I normally wouldn't buy this product without a RR or ECB attached to it,
but I couldn't pass it up.
(Told you that it isn't out of my system yet)

9 packs of Huggies diapers for $30.67 oop

Well, yesterday an unplanned pop-in at Pathmark resulted in $6.58 OOP (no coupons, & even more irritating: it doesn't go toward my free turkey reward accumulation at Shoprite)--wish I had put some thought into that one.

Today I spent $1.69 OOP at Dunkin Donuts for coffee.

    So far: $8.81 total OOP.

Hey y'all. I went back to Kroger on Tuesday for one last stab at the Mega Sale, along with milk, bread, etc. I spent $24.75 (50% savings) for a new monthly OOP of $172.39.

Due to my inability to avoid the Mega Sale and therefore using my weekly budget for stuff that was not on my list, I had to alter my menu plan.

    Thursday - Zatarain's Dirty Rice & Cornbread
Friday - Leftover Minestrone from Wednesday Night & taco soup that a friend brought to us
Saturday - Eggs Benedict Casserole (new recipe, hope it's yummy) with homemade English Muffin Bread

Hopefully I can focus on what we actually need and stick to the plan for the rest of the month. Next week is:
Sunday - Homemade Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Monday - Oven Baked Chicken, No Bake Mac & Cheese w/broccoli
Tuesday - Tater Tot Casserole, Green Beans & Biscuits
Wednesday - Slow Cooker Lasagna & Salad
Thursday - Pork Tacos, Spanish Rice, Southwestern Corn (frozen)
Friday - Meatball Subs and Ceaser Salad
Saturday - Grilled Pork Loin, Broccoli/Rice & Homemade Bread

I am soooo happy with the way my transaction went at Albies today. But I didn't even have any regular MQ's (didn't plan ahead on that one )

    I got:
8 Sara Lee Pies (Mom loves me for this one)
8 Bryers (DH will give me a little somethine extra for this one )
    4 Ragu
    1 Corn Tortillas
Some Steak 5.73 worth (don't remember the #'s)

Total OOP: 36.09 saved 87.25 (according to my receipt) and got $15 back in OYNO's

I have not been keeping a running total of my spending this month so I guess it's up to you Cody...... You could double my total and I probably would never notice

Be careful though. Mommycia tried it at the same store shortly before me and it didn't work for her. Be ready to call Catalina if it doesn't print!
