Now, SarahJ, did you think you were gonna do this without me?? Well, I think not. Put me down for $175 (gives me a little cushion for the bake sales) for my family of 3 and one stupid dog.
I may not be able to post as much (I know calm down-you'll make it) because the holidays are usually a little busy for me. But then again, I do have down time at work.
Add me to the list please.

wow.....i feel like my *budget* is really high compared to everyone elses.....BUT i also realize that not all families eat the same, nor has the same dietary needs

i would rather set my goal HIGHER then what i think we actually need, then to shoot for too low and be horribly disapointed with myself

I am new to the boards but I would like to join. We were going to do this challenge anyways so it will be great to have a place to share. There are four of us but one is a four month old so she doesn't need groceries. Put us down for $100 including dog food. Yikes, that seems rough but you have to aim high, right?

I know I went way over my October budget but i am pretty stocked up on meat as we are big meat eaters. I may be hosting Thanksgiving this year... This will be my 2nd try bad time of year for trying but got to start some month.. Back to work tomorrow.
I would like to change my Budget to New $300.00 as I think this month it would be more realistic as I have a few specialty items that are a must have and I cant use coupons. Got to have my Irish specialty products which I had forgotten I was low on. :shrug7:

As you say, each family is different.
We are all at different places in our journeys,
and although it is a FRIENDLY competition,
your biggest challenge is yourself and your family.

You are a wonderful asset to the thread Latte.

Thanks to you for re-joining.

Default Re: NOVEMBER challenge: Living Off Of Your Stockpile. JOIN TODAY!!!

I'm going to attempt $25/wk for groceries and personal care. That's $125 for the month.
Wow, that would be amazing, considering only 6 months ago I was consistently overspending our $425/month grocery budget!
(That's for 2 adults and 2 kids - but the littlest is only just starting baby food.)
