I'm making some crazy concoction from stockpile stuff. I hope it's edible! I had a large can of diced tomatoes with onion and garlic, a can of tomato sauce, added a partial bag of frozen corn, a partial box of elbow macaroni some water and am frying up hamburger and onion to add to it. Maybe it will turn out like a soup/stew...LOL!

I went to Kroger for one more run at the Mega Deal. Spent $20.00 oop, saved $67, so even though it is over 10% I am still super happy!

    I got:

    12 boxes of Kleenex
    2 kids Yoplait
    1 Simply Orange OJ
    2 Sensodyne
    1 Playtex gloves
    2 Smart Balance

Plus, a free pouch of Idahoan potates from a CAT I got last time.

Then, my big score was finding 3 packages of Huggies Supreme Fit diapers on manager's clearance for $3 each!! After coupons and cellfire I spent $2 for all three. I am ecstatic!!

Sounds yummy, we call that stuff goo-lash.
We don't add water (pre boil noodles and drain) to it for a stew or soup - we just let it cook down so it makes like home made hamburger helper.

Well I have some good news! I found $56 in my grocery envelope, which I thought only contained a few dollars, so my total from my first post was incorrect. At the time of that post I had actually only spent $124. Since then I have hit Krogers again! My new correct total is $170. So I'm a little better off than I thought, but not a whole lot! That means I have $230 to last the month. I am restocked for the year on several items, and in pretty good shape for the holidays. Still need good sugar and flour deals. What do you all think is a good stock up price on flour? I've been sitting here debating whether or not to go to Wags to try for some of the meters. I have been out of the Wags and CVS loop, and didn't know until a little while ago that there was a meter deal this week. I live about 25 minutes away from my nearest Wags, so I'm not sure if it is worth it to drive over there. Would they still have any? There doesn't appear to be anything else in the ad that I need. CVS has been stinking so bad, I'm not going to bother with it at least until they can come up with a $/$$. What is the deal CVS? Why are your deals stinking so bad?? I am out of the loop. Other than Krogers, I am not seeing a lot of deals. Am I missing something, or are they just not there?

I think that the WAGS deal is awesome! And if I wasn't stocked up on flour for the next while I would probably get some as well! Especially since you can use the free RR from the meter deal, I say go for it! Plus, if they are out of the flour you can always get a raincheck. Then you have time to get your hands on more of the flour q's!

Thank you sweetheart! I can't believe I missed the almay deals at Wags, and the cheap turkeys! Gack! I'm going to WM in a bit to see if there are possibly any left. I am going to be so mad if I have missed such an awesome turkey deal.
