Moisture from the freezer would not be good for the sugar

I have it in Ziploc storage bags, and we don't have any trouble with ants (we are on the 5th floor..) so I think it will be fine. I only have a few bags anyway. |

| Re: NOVEMBER challenge: Living Off Of Your Stockpile. Weak ones, we're done with week 1! oooh and there is a reason why i dont like taking my 8 and 10 year old to the store with me!!!!! i got all distracted last night @ albertsons.......not sure of exact totals between the 2 transactions but it was close to 50-----although i am fairly certain that i screwed up as the skippy naturals i got, i was thinking i was going to get a cat for 1.00 onyo for every 2 i bought...that didnt happen, so i think im goin to return them
185$ remaining for the month......OUCH only a week in and ive spent half my grocery money already????? oh and it doesn help that ive been scatterbrained more so then normal, my culinary skills are off, ive been breaking things lately, ive been a klutz and some days i just cant even wrap my head around the household chores i gotta do!!!!
kids are eating breakfast of cereal (i think honey nut little bites?)
lunch---most likely sandwiches
dinner---i didnt pull anything out of the freezer but we have some leftover chicken which i think will be shredded and add some bbq sauce to it for bbq chicken wraps....but i dont know
still havent made it to walgreens.....gotta go there today and pick up some prescriptions(forgot my walgreens $ and giftcard at the house yesterday!!!!) may hit up target today........the kitties need kitty litter, and BOTH my kids need new sneakers.....school just started on sept 1st---i was hoping their shoes that they got when school started would hold out until xmas.....but thats not gonna happen-----i am hoping i can find some sneakers for them at the thrift store (my kids are HARSH on shoes, i cant justify paying 20+ for a pair of shoes that they are going to wear out in 3 months-----when i can, i buy them at the thrift store adn just toss em in the washer first)
ok now that ive babbled away, have a great day everyone and keep your oop low! |

| Re: NOVEMBER challenge: Living Off Of Your Stockpile. Weak ones, we're done with week 1! Okay. Did my weekly shopping today and I'm SUPER happy with how it turned out!!
Target - Saved $78.78, and total OOP was $12.82, which I paid on a gc
CVS - Saved $31.99, and I actually came out ahead $0.10 here
HyVee - Saved $17.32, and total OOP was $10.62
Walgreens - Saved $37.00, and total OOP was 51 cents, which is <10%
WalMart - Saved $6.20, and total OOP was $10.54 Family Dollar - Saved $19.53, and total OOP was $1.47, which is <10% I also found a penny on the ground at CVS Soooo...my new total OOP for November is $67.15 Definetely not as bad as I thought it would be! PLUS, I also have $26.50 in rebates ready to go out on Monday I also got the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser at Target, and got $25 Target gc at checkout and will send in the $20 MIR for it!! I'm so excited, but none of that transaction will be counted in the totals here since it's not a grocery item! Today's Meals... Breakfast - I had oatmeal, hubs didn't eat Lunch - I had a turkey and cheese tortilla wrap. Hubs forgot to pack a lunch for work, so I dropped off some yogurt, and apple and some crackers that I had got when shopping on my way home. Supper - Not sure yet. We are going to hubs' grandma's house to spend time with her and a couple of his uncles that are in town, so I will either make a homemade pizza before we go there, or we'll eat take out from somewhere there (and odds are they won't let us pay. they're crazy nice like that!) Snacks - Haven't decided yet...but it's about that time |

And there are 5 days left of this sale.

total $408. paid $35.32 <10%.
Nothing for the freezer was bought in the participation of this sale.....I made the kids eat the only 1 ice cream!
