Ok, I'm here again and will actually put a goal this time. I'll try to stay less than $200 but with the holiday sales this may be quite difficult for me.

Since November tends to be a good stock up month. I'm going back to my "usual" budget for our food, HBA, cleaning etc. Plus with having extra from doing descent on the Oct. challenge, that will go for donation items.

So....$250 for grocery budget (some will go to donations I'm sure and at least one care box each to both "kids")
$50 for donation items (toys, food gift cards, items for seniors, etc)

Hubby and I have decided to keep our Christmas giving to each other to a minimum since we are getting ready to move and will have to furnish the "new" place. (this place was furnished with basic items). So really only the "kids" and parents to really buy much for this year. But Christmas is a totally different part of the budget.

I have been sitting here and debating over whether to join for Nov or not. I cannot to seem to meet my goal for anything, but I am going to suck it up, put my big girl panties on and try again. I was able to stock up on cereal last month and my freezer if pretty full . I have never been so excited about having so much cereal... I am in for 200 for the month of November for me and my 3, Dh and 2 DS's.

I'll join! Never done this before, but I would love to get under $100.00 for the month. We are paying to have a hog processed, which is about $250+, so it would be a great month to limit myself in the grocery store. Seems like everytime I say that tons of deals come out that I just can't pass up! I defnitely need the accountability and some discipline wouldn't hurt either ;)

Alright, I'm ready to do it again! This group really helped my Sept. totals, so I'm hoping for a repeat in November. My goal will be $200 for the month, we usually budget $300. Anything I can manage to save will be going to our debt snowball, Dave Ramsey style.

Thanks cody for heading this up every month. I know it's a lot to keep up with, but I know we all appreciate it!

Okay 300 for the month...wowzers! I am not knowing if I can do it all ready! This will include eating out etc. This will be hard because I work 2 jobs etc. Plus it is Thanksgiving and I am a teacher (if you only knew what WE spend!!!) irritates me sometimes because parents compain about what they spend on school supplies etc. However in Ex Ed the parents never send supplies and I am stuck with a bill....hahaha horrible.
Usually I spend about 150 a week for clothes, dogs, teaching supplies, eating out, entertainment, etc. Well wish me luck hopefully this can end up to be another 300 on our remaining 4k of credit card debt! Woohoo!

[QUOTE=frugalicious08;2097847 I am a teacher (if you only knew what WE spend!!!) [/QUOTE]

Bless your heart! And you are so right people do not realize how much of their own money teachers spend to supplement the classroom. I taught prek/K years ago and am about to go back into teaching elementary fulltime. I've already started purchasing things.

One month of not spending on the classroom will take some willpower, but I know you can do it! Just look at the goal - paying toward your debt.
