No oop today-"the couch sucked me in"- and it was all football from then on! which was fine, since I have a major headache today anyway- woke up w/ it @ 6 am... & still pounding!

MSD- I also buy several papers on Sundays - for the Q's of course. used to get a lot of slack about it too.. but since then they have torn down that gas station (a Wag's is replacing it- I'm in trouble, 2 blks. away!) and I now get them at the other gas station on the corner. Once the clerk asked me what I do w/ all those newspapers? I told her I only want the Q's and just recycle the rest. She suggested that I take the remainder to the nursing home up the street. The residents there don't do any grocery shopping, so they aren't even interested in the Q's. works out great!

First day of Nov Challenge, and I already have a hefty OOP spending to report:

Target: 15.11 (got a $10 giftcard)

7-11: 6.00 for slurpees (rounded up since I can't remember the exact amount)

Costco: Produce and Milk (hopefully I won't have to buy any milk this month which should really help) and other odds and ends: 78.24. We only went to get enough milk for the month to freeze. Should have been around $10. Somehow it ended up at $78. I blame hubby!!

soooooooooo Nov OOP so far: 99.35

Hoping to get about $50 in rebates this month which should cushion some of the spending from today

Starting with:
walgreens: 4 RR
cvs: 12.50 ECBs
target gc: $10

Good luck everyone!!

No OOP for today, well I bought next year's Halloween costumes but that is a different budget. My girls will be Dorothy and Little Red Riding Hood next year. Other than that, stayed at home and hung out. Great time.

Went to Walgreens this afternoon and spent 84c after coupons and RRs and got 9 double rolls of TP, one Dial hand soap, two Halloween votives and one Halloween cup. The votives are marked down to 10c which is awesome because I love the scent and they will make great fillers for the next couple of weeks, until they sell out or get taken off the shelves. Wags was OUT of newspapers (GRRRR) so I sent hubby to get one from the grocery store so I guess I will start the week with $2.84 oop for the paper and Wags trip.

Ate all three meals at home today:

B: cereal and milk and bananas
L: leftovers from dinner last night
D: chicken quesadillas, grilled cheese for DD

GRRRR. 4 of my 10 delivered papers did not have q's in them. And I didn't discover that until a few minutes ago so too late to get a redelivery.

No OOP today, we had a very busy football/cheer/concession manager duty weekend so we slept in today and ate all meals from home, I never left the house.

I didn't even spend $ on halloween candy this year. I knew we'd be home late from football and around here, after 8pm the kiddies are inside and its only the teens out mooching. Good thing i didn't. We had one trick or treater and DS found a hershey's bar in the fridge and gave that to him. LOL

Brunch - eggs, bacon, sausage and eng muffins
Dinner - I had a bunless burger and half a hot dog (took home FREE after concession manager duty, no reason to throw away good food) and DS/DH are gonna eat some tyson hot wings after changing the brakes on DH's car...
