| Re: How much do I sell stockpile items for??????? I agree with meems, a good rule of thumb is half price. I sometimes tell buyers half price or less and no tax. |

| Re: How much do I sell stockpile items for??????? for me, it depends on your target market. if you're selling to couponers, they may find 50% off retail still steep since they know most items are either cheap/free with coupons/RRs/ECBs/SCRs/etc. There may be takers at 70% to 75% off SRP, depending on area.
if target market aren't couponers, you can sell them for up to 40% off SRP and you may have a lot of interested buyers since these people feel they are getting a bargain and the no sales tax is an add'l incentive to them. if you keep your S/H reasonable, that is an add'l plus.

| Re: How much do I sell stockpile items for??????? Where is the yard sale queen? Who was it that makes thousands on her sales. She has a cash register and many helpers. One runs the register, one sacks/bags, a few restocks the tables all day, last sale she had I read about was $5500.00
My sales net way lower than hers. LOL
I am rural so we load up a trailer and go to a big subdivision.
I have to compete with dollar generals on every corner in that area...so my prices are lower than some. That why I only buy freebies or mm. .25 is my price.
Really 5 dollar generals, 1 walmart, 1 kmart w/i 10 minutes of each other. My prices are normally 1/2 to 1/3 of retail.
I think your laundry stuff will sell great. I always get asked for it, but never have it. That and denture stuff.
I mainly sell what the inlaws didn't want and what is left over after I donate. I have to yardsale to get to play again. If I don't recoop tax and coupon costs I can't donate. If you can't remember your retail prices run to a dollar general or guesstimate. I now write my prices on the stuff when it comes in. I take a permanent marker and scribble the price then. LOL, I try really had, makes a big difference at the sale. Unloading is hard enough w/o trying to price stuff too. Shampoos are normally $2 for smalls to 3.50 for the large, the suaves we got last yr as wags mm are $1,
deo's travels sizes .50, large men deo's 1.50, deo body spray 2.00,
travel sized shampoos, deo, basically anything trial or travel - I sell .50....these sell surprisingly well,,,even the freebies from the freebie thread too.
carefree liners .50,
garnier styling products $2,
scent stuff sells like crazy - the $10 stuff I sell for $5 the $3 plugins oils I sell for $2, the $2.50/3.00 plug in gels for a $1
make up doesn't normally sell hot for me - then one yardsale will be all high school moms and it sells out lol
mascara $3, eye shadows $2, base $4 and $5, powders $4,
hair dye $5 or $4,
face washes $3 to $5
Robitussin small $3
Dimetapp small $3
small tylenol and adv $2
big excedrin $5
bandaids small mixed boxes $1
mini pack of band aids .50
travel kit 1.00 yep sells
j&j red cross pads, tape, guaze 1.00
Neo small $3
bbq sauce .50
brownie mixes .50
bc warm delights .50
boxes of cereal 1.00
rice .50
gatorade .50
powerbars .50
2 liter drinks .50 (left over from a party and we don't drink that kind)
old seasonal candy .50 to 1.00 (larger bags of fun size stuff)
I can't wait until my next one - I will have all kinds of p&g stuff.
