I bought 10 lbs of the $1.77/lb sirlion roasts and had them ground at Food Lion yesterday into Ground Sirlion. I then put a pound in Ziploc Freezer bags and put it in my new upright freezer.

How long is it good for stored this way? I am trying to decide whether to go back and get more...I don't think I can beat $1.77 per pound on ground sirlion....or ground chuck for that matter...opinions on the price would be helpful as well.
