I had to when I read this comment. The other day I was in "The bunker" putting some groceries away and noticed that my 3yo had been rummaging around. As I was fixing what he rearranged I noticed the jello/puddings all messed up and remembered my 17yo had last used jello. I yelled out the door to my DH to call Jamie to straighten up the jello department. He looks at me and asks " We have a JELLO DEPARTMENT?" It was not intended to be funny.... but what else would you have called it ??

I put things away as soon as they are brought in, no matter the time of day/night. Sometimes I do pictures to try to encourage my non couponing friends to take the plunge. I have pictures of my storage in my sig line.

ETA : I organize my chest freezers by keeping like items in "green bags. This works well and makes it easy to move things to look underneath. In my stockpile pics you can see my daughter dumped bags of chicken in without doing it properly ( i fixed it after the pic, lol) I also use the sharpie method for making Xdates easier to spot. I started doing this because I buy several things in #10 cans. Id label prices, but honestly I remember what I paid for almost every item in my storage...

If it goes in the freezer I just toss it in the chest freezer or inside freezer. If it goes in the fridge I organize right then and there.
HAHAHA ME TOO!!!!! I'm lucky if, after 3 days or more, I'm not shuffling the bags from one side of the kitchen to the other! I have a large shelving unit downstairs in the basement, in my laundry area that is PACKED! It's even over flowing around the bottom, to the point its hard to walk! but thats mostly non-perishables, I try to keep perishables or at least the food upstairs in my 2 pantries, but it's gotten to the point, if I open those doors, the stuff falls out on me! My freezer is soooooo stuffed, my husband refuses to open it. Says "I'm not digging for x, you do it!"
ok ok, I swear my house is not a pig sty! but I definately have not thought out my stockpile storage yet!
We have a media room in our basement........it may go bye bye....
But then dh would kill me!!!!

went to giant eagle yesterday, so have 9 ragus, 9 mustards, 12 wishbones, 10 mentos, 3 hellmanns.......sitting in bags on my kitchen table
