Additionally AF came just as scheduled...

Today: Showers likely, mainly before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 51. North wind between 10 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Tonight: Patchy frost after 3am. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 36. North northwest wind between 5 and 8 mph becoming calm

No! No snow yet. I am so glad AF doesn't visit anymore. Although I would take her visiting over snow in October! I think the heat is gonna get turned on..57 in the house this a.m.

Hi ya'll. I've been catching up on reading the posts this a.m. and I have to tell you I'm sooooo jealous of ya'll who have been having cool or cold weather. It's still getting into the 90's here. Yikes!! A cool front is supposed to come tonight, so I'm hoping....

Anyway, I have a couple of trips to report. Fiesta for canned del monte veggies @ 50 cents each and whole chickens for 59 cents per pound. The total was $12.94. Then to Kroger for my weekly shopping, spent $47.41. And Wal-mart for a few forgotten things - $14.51. My monthly OOP so far is $154.98. I budgeted $80 per week with the weeks starting on Thursday, so I'm doing o.k. I won't be spending anymore until next Thursday since I don't have anything to spend, so I'm gonna make my budget for this two weeks...yippee!!

My menu plan for the next week is: 1) Shake & Bake Pork Chops w/Lima Beans and Macaroni Salad; 2) BBQ Chicken (grilled) w/Potato Salad and Slow Cooked Baked Beans; 3)Purple Hull Peas w/Ground Beef & Rice; 4) Homemade Pizza (I think it's gonna be a BBQ chicken pizza w/leftover BBQ) and watermelon; 5)Macaroni Grill boxed meal w/a veggie of some kind; 6)Beanie Wienies and pineapple and 7)Spaghetti & homemade garlic bread.

Have a great weekend!!

Spending to report:

Wags

# Fusion Razor - $5.83

Walmart
#1 Pullup wipes - $1.18
#2 pullup wipes - $1.18

Albertsons - $2.83, saved $231.58 <10%

At DSW I scored a new Etienne Aigner purse for $2.18! (Saved 66.02)

I'm afraid I'm probably going to spend alot of that at Walgreens this weekend, but we need diapers AND pullups!

No OOP from yesterday...didn't go to any stores.

But today we will. I need to get dh some gatorade to boost his electrolytes, the dr. at the ER yesterday said he was slightly dehydrated. And of course I have none in my stockpile (well, I had one Powerade...thats it) because we just don't drink the stuff.

We are supposed to be taking the camper out this weekend to the mountains, but still debating that since the ER visit yesterday and me waiting for test results from my dr. (crossing my fingers for gall bladder issues and nothing else). So....I may not post until after we get back on Monday if we go.

Dh is going out of town for 2 days next week. I'm considering doing a couple days of cooking/baking...anyone think they would want to join me and we could start a thread, keep each other motivated? If you are seriously interested, send me a PM.. (just remember I probably won't reply until Monday evening....as I don't think we have internet access at the campground we are going to...yea we are really roughing it..ROFL).

Oh now those stats aren't so bad. I wish I was 5'3"! Only 5' here and 160 . I can't reach most of my kitchen cabinets without DS2's step stool!

This is such a good example of how "the grass is always greener" - I'm 5'8', and when I see your heights it makes me jealous because you guys probably have cute, tiny feet!

I have a 4 step ladder (that doesn't look right) I have to keep for my pantry and my 42" upper cabinets. I don't know what I was thinking when we picked those-yeah I do....that's why I have the ladder.

I've been trying to get motivated to spend some time baking. I would like to set aside one day a week, but I have to tell you, I have always worked 60 - 70 hours a week at a very stressful job, until I decided to stay home and take care of DS and DD. I find that it is difficult to get motivated when I don't have to work at crazy speeds with crazy stress. So, I think this is a good idea.
