LOL I see no reason why you can't. I've been "auditing" (reading the monthly challenge threads) for the last 2 months. LOL.

Please, sign me up again Cody. A little birdie told me I should sign up again.

I think I'm going to make my goal this month $150 for a family of three and dumb dog. I think I can make this happen (or at least hope I can). My budget does include eating out but does not include bad habits except Pepsi and Dew (believe me-that's bad enough!). I'm really hoping to make more of a dent in my stockpile this month, especially in the pantry (canned goods).

COME ON OCTOBER........I"M READY FOR YA!

Audit the class .

It was awhile after I started couponing that I actually started paying attention to what I was spending. I'd known before that point that I was getting great deals and saving alot, but it was really an eye-opener to see how much I was spending.

I'll be interested to see what in my cupboards I never use. What a great opportunity to find those items and get rid of them!

This will be the first time I have tried this but I think I will see what I can do. I am going to try for $150 for the whole month but this is just for groceries and HBA not eating out since we already have some events planned (our anniversary and a couple of dinner invitations). I currently have $15.00 in ECB's and should be getting some rebates in October. There is DH, me, 3 dogs and 1 cat.

I'm a heavy couponer and I'll be cleaning out my coupons today to purge out the ones with a 09/30 date and I know a lot of them expire today. I have a lot to do today but I will try very, very hard to resist the urge to go shopping with those coupons!

I do have to get some .99/lb fresh turkey breast I got a RC for on Monday but I do have a lot to do today so maybe I'll avoid the store.

I often put the kids in the car early afternoon so my 21 month old will nap while I drive to go get a deal because he is resisting naps lately. What will I do if I have to curb that shopping! :shrug7:

This is the first month (of the next 30) that I will have a goal of $0.00 oop:sad:

I will try to sell approzimately $80.00 in stockpile items each month to make up any spending over 10% I may have.

Assuming that my depression keeps me inside all day today,
I am starting October with the following:

$4.00 ecbs
$12 oyno Kmart
2, $2 oyno Kmart
$7.37 Kroger gc balance
$10.66 paypal
$4.23 Kmart gcs
$25. gc Best Buy
$0.00 cash

Good luck to everyone!!!

Is that a typo or do you really plan on 30 months with no OOP? If it's 30 months, are there pictures available of your stockpile? I am in awe.

I don't want to go too OT but maybe just a little bit of fresh air would be a good thing. No shopping, just getting out, even if it's just to get the mail.

I've never done this before but I need it BAD so...

I'm in! Family of 5...(2 teenage boys!)

I have no ecb's, gift cards, cats left...

But the freezer is full and I got plenty of soup, pasta, etc.

I figure I'll have to buy milk, bread (maybe I'll bake some) and produce. I just don't know what kind of goal to set. I figure at least 100 for the month.

ok that's my goal $100.00 for the month.

You guys are great!!! Thanks!!!

With 2 teenage boys, do you have plenty of snacks on hand? I know how much my teenage son ate...wow. And milk? Will $100 be enough for milk? LOL We used to say we were going to invest in a cow just for the milk when ds was a teen.

Good luck on the challenge, its my first time to join the challenge too. But there is only dh and I and I'm aiming for $100. I do send care packages to both grown (college and military) kids at least once a month and I take postage out of my grocery money too.
