Ok, I am going to try to do less than $50 - for groceries (eating out is different $$)!

I have some giftcards to Randalls and CVS so that should help...if I can only stop "running in" to HEB because it is so close (and then buying all kinds of wonderful things)!!!

Mee too 11th.

I am increasing my budget from last month 100 to $ 150 I think my average will be $ 200 so I will try to strech to $150.

$150 for October I and my 3 boys ( DH,4-yr and 5-month)

I've decided the stockpile needs to be cleaned out and reorganized- so what better way to do it! I'm in!

Thinkin' $50 a week should do! so- I guess it's $200 for the month
me, dh, 2 doggies, and the 3 kits.

Hooray count me in! I need some help on exactly how to count what my OOP budget is, here's what I have

$63 cash budgeted for the month
$25 safeway gift card
and scheduled to receive around $240 in rebate checks this month.

So only cash from my $63 spent will count toward my OOP for the month? And if the receipt shows savings of 90% or better, I don't count it at all?

We are a family of four, one still in diapers full time, one in nighttime diapers. We also have a cat and a (big) dog.

Also, I have a couple of ebay auctions going for BTFE and Cambells labels - will this income reduce my OOP as well?

I am in again at $80 for the month. I am not counting our quarter of beef coming on the first. My dad pays for it, although I will probably pay something toward it. I thought about lowering my total, but will have family in from out of town several days, so, probably not a good idea this month!

WAIT!!!
You use "that other" site????
And to sell BTFEs?????? (GASP)
Me, me, me.
Me likey BTFEs (see my siggy)

No, to answer your questions.
A BIG to the Newbies to the challenge!!

Any income you receive from items "sold" would not count towards your oop. That is your profit!

If the cash you have is from rebates or selling stockpile, etc. then that also would not count towards your oop. Also rebates and gc's do not count towards your oop, (unless you go out and 'buy' a giftcard) But if you receive one from deals, offers, or gifts, you can use it.

I'm thrilled to have so many newbies!!!

(Now off to go check "that other site" for BTFEs

Thank you Cody - I know, I'm evil using that "other site", I was mostly just curious how it would work out, so thought I'd give it a shot (Hey some extra cash is always nice, too!)

Ended up missing my September goal by $100 but my freezers, pantry, kitchen and bathroom cabinets are FULL so low oop should be fairly easy for October. I am going to set my goal for $150 for the whole month. I have some rebates coming soon I hope and still have $35 in GCs. I also have a few rebates I need to submit. If only the little guy would potty train I could drastically reduce my oop, sigh...
