One last oop to report. Kroger for the next week's regular shopping - $54.11. So my total monthly oop for October is $401.76. My budget was $80 per week starting on Thursdays for a total of $400 (there were 5 Thursdays in October). I am $1.76 over, not too bad at all....

I hope to spend less in November, but since there is a "eating" holiday, we will have to see.

    Y'all have a great weekend!!!

    me too Jen.

    Now hear this.
While I was empowering myself mowing the property the other day, DS1 picked up a "fresh" can of beer.
We live along a rural route where we recieve "gifts" from travelers fairly frequently.
Mostly empties, but this time a full can of beer.

Hey, I am not a drinker, but I am REALLY thirsty about now

This reminds me on when I was 12 and went trick or treating and at one apartment we stopped at the drunk guys gave me a beer instead of candy!

    I'm back!

Jen, after 3 kids, I am surprized none of mine stuck anything up their nose or in their ears....I thought all normal kids did that!

I did however have to get the plumber several times for toys stuck in the toilet.

Ok so I spent the last of my catalinas at acme for milk, bread, sugar, some free stuff, oop $4.31. Since I already earned my turkey, I used my coupon buddy's card.
Shoprite for more apple cider, apples, rice, gravy, stuff for taco night. Paid $26.50 for $88.56 worth of stuff. Put that on my friends card too since I already got mine.
    todays oop $30.81

Grand total for October......$218.02 my goal was $100.

I'm ok with that, I guess it's harder than I thought to cure a dyehard stockpiller.
It was alot of fun challenging myself this month.
    Bring on November!!!

Howdy everbody! Well, y'all know it's Friday and I shouldn't be on here today (you know that work thing-some of these people actually want a check) but I had to get my fix! I did make another trip to Fred's last night for Pepsi and will go back again tonight so go ahead and add another $7.42 to my total. I didn't check my previous total but I'm over-oh well!

Good news everyone, one of our lost "challengers" contacted me and said hello to everyone! ZWELLA INGRID!!! She said she will be joining us for next months challenge but it will probably be in week 2 before she posts.

Jenn-I'm so glad my DS has not done the sticking things up the nose-I would probably be too busy laughing and screaming to get it out! I know, I know....just wait. That's all ever hear.

Cody-ya know I like ya girl and all that but dang! how do ya keep working all those deals?? The coupon gods must just smile on you all day-every day! Talkin' 'bout being jealous!!

Phin-I still you think you did an awesome job this month. Can't wait to see what you accomplish next month.

I will probably lurk the rest of the day.
