Speaking from experience (past though)...alchies don't keep up with receipts...they don't want to realize how much they spend on beer. (Not condemning-based on my past experiences!)

That does suck though...I'm pretty much in one of those "purchase required" states too and most of my family/friends have quit or just don't drink. I guess I can't have it all.

Got the last of the Snuggle sheets that I had Qs for. I didn't find them for free like many others did, most of the stores don't care the perfume/dye free ones or price them different. So got them at Walmart for 48 cents a box. Also got Suave deodorant for between 24 and 47 cents each. (men's and women's). But I had added that into the OOP I reported yesterday since I figured I'd be going.

Well on the bright side, I won't have to buy dryer sheets for 3 years or more. LOL. And some of the deodorant will go for my donation box.

Oh I got 2 envies of Qs yesterday and when I was subbing on Monday the secretary at the school gave me HANDFULS of a Target coupon book.

Its ok to trade Target Qs right?

HELP!!!!

I am going Trick or treating with some friends in the afternoon on Saturday then heading back to a friends house for dinner then more trick or treating. She is making hotdogs in crescent rolls for everyone for dinner and I really need to make sure I bring something to share as well but I am drawing a blank. One other girl is bringing cupcakes (as if the kids won't have had enough sugar) so I really would like it to be non sugary. But it also has to be able to sit in the car for an hour or so while we trick or treat. Figure it will be 50ish outside. I can make something up ahead of time and just pop it in the oven or heat it on the stove or microwave when I get there but I really am drawing a blank. I need ideas!

I'm glad I could make you laugh. I know you probably need a good chuckle right now anyways.

I'd do tater tots or french fries - cook them most of the way, they can be reheated/finish cooking when you get to the house. You have mustard/ketchup you could bring too, right?

Velvetta Dip w/ Rotel or salsa, hamburger, sausage and ham (I think some call it lead dip around here) served with tostitos (sp?) scoop chips. Just an idea...first that popped in my head. Cook it in the crock and then plug it back up when you get there.

Hi ladies ,

I've had a couple of good mail days. Got Loreal Revitalift Deep-Set Wrinkle Repair (full size) and like 4 samples and $2/1 coupons today in the mail for being a part of BzzzAgent . Nice surprise .

I am going to cheat and wait until Sunday to shop . DH has been wanting Dasani water & we have been out for like 3 weeks now and FL has it on sale, so time to get a couple. I did go today and get 2lbs of honey turkey @ FL's Deli (Total $11.20, OOP = $1.00 even!!!!) If that isn't good, I don't know what is (well maybe free..but still a nice little rush for the day...definitely needed it!!!). Also, stopped by Rite-Aid to get 2 prescriptions transferred (got 2 $25 GC's) and got a Gallon of Milk, used my $5 & something balance on one of the cards I already had to buy it with, now it has something like a $1 something...its in my purse and I am too lazy to get up and go look for definite amounts....so this is off of memory, LOL. Either way, Milk was $0 oop...LOL. I think I have another GC with $3 something on it...have to look for it later.

Even though I won't be joining November's Challenge, I hope to be popping in here and there, if you gals don't mind. I am sure we will be living off our stockpile following along (just not recording), still keeping my goal to $0 OOP as planned - saving for Christmas as I said I would.

Okay going to cook dinner......

Sending the boys to Hyvee for the Easy Mac sale.
If they allow the coupons I sent with them,
we will end up with 3 easy macs for .11.

I hope they don't have a limit
