But since I've already busted my budget big time I may as well go out with a bang LOL.

Is this Campbell's cream of Chicken?, or an off brand? Campbells? stock it, off-brand, just enough to get you by.

The BC potatoes are at about 50% savings, so without doubles, I'd say stock that.

$3.13 for 2 sodas and tic tacs on the way to church last night. I just can't stop spending. Of course dh says 'well we finally can afford to spend a little money' sigh. Hopefully coke will hurry up and send me my 14 free soda Qs I requested.

It was childrens night at church last night followed by the monthly birthday party so we got home late. It's 6:30 and the kids are still sleeping (rarely happens). I just want to curl back up in bed and let them sleep but I have to go wake them up and get dd ready for school

No oop yesterday but today I need to go get milk and might find some other things. The sales don't seem very good this week so not too much to tempt me unless I find some good clearance. No more refunds in the mail. We are having a steak from the freezer for dinner tonight and some squash. Laid out chicken breasts for the crock pot for tomorrow with leftovers over the weekend.

I think I'm out of this one all together. I'm going to have to re work my plan here and maybe join the Dec. one.
I kept it low this time but not near what the others have. It's so hard when 5 of us eat out on the weekends and there have been some really good sales for me to stock up on.
Yesterday I got 40 20oz. bottles of pepsi, 10 bags of chips, 2 reese's, and some halloween makeup for $32. That's a great deal but those great deals are what's racking up my oop each month.
I did send in about $50 worth of MIR for this month. Yippee!
Like I said I'll get my duck in a row and be back in Dec.

me too me too me too! I think I was over ambitious this month with my $200 budget. I am so glad I did this challenge because I was able to track my spending and see where the money goes. I tried to stick to the bare necessities but with the cost of organic milk (and three kids who love milk), organic meat and mostly organic produce, $200 was impossible. Nov I might shoot for $350/month due to Thanksgiving (feeding an extended fam of about 25) and all the stockup opportunities that come around during the holidays (butter, canned goods, etc) which will last me throughout the first half of the new year.

I must confess.....I've lost track of what we spent. After we hit $20 over the goal I stopped keeping track. I'm guessing that we are at about $140 for the month. Even though I could have kept us at the goal...dh kept coming home with "deals". I mean I appreciate him being so enthusiastic about getting deals (he asks me for coupons! LOL) but he wasn't so set on the $100 goal. lol. Thats ok though. $140 is good.

Next month I'm back to our normal budget so I can get stocked up on baking supplies, and other items as we are trying to increase our stockpile amounts. Still gonna participate in the challenge, just upping my amount. And now we might have to go to Florida to get our house down there ready to rent out (can't get it sold...gotta get some income from it somehow) so staying in the budget may be more difficult while down there.

Amazingly I need to go wake up the boys too. It is 8:00 here and they are still sleeping. This never happens since they have to be up by 7 on the days I work. I feel guilty going and waking them up but DS1 starts school at 9 and they need breakfast! Oh well at least they got to sleep in a little bit. But come Saturday they will likely be getting ME up at like 6!

Looks like I'll be stocking up on Campbels Cream o Chicken. Bett get the boys up so DS2 is ready to shop with me while DS1 is at school.
