    Sounds like a good price to me. They sell shelled lima beans at the local farmers market for $8-10 a pint. (the square container thats about 4-5 inches across..I think thats called a pint right?) And shoot, can you imagine having to shell by hand enough peas to make a bushel?!?!?

    I went to Homeland and was charged wrong for my toothpaste by almost a dollar :sad:. I have not been having to great of a day so I did not want to go back and return it.So I am just going to eat it..the cost not the toothpaste.
    OOP for today 23.47
    Homeland I got ham, toothpaste, and Suave lotion oop 4.22 saved 67%
    CVS 3.10 got 2 Shavers 1 Tilex Bathroom cleaner (0.99), 2 Clorox anywhere sprays(0.99),1 2oz Glade, 1 Caramel.
    Buy For Less I went in for frozen veggies,carrots & tomatoes. I forgot the carrots did not get the veggies and ended up spending 16.15:hectic1:
    They had Boneless Pork Rib Eye on sale for 0.99 lb and Boneless Sooner Sirloin. Everything here is related to the Sooner.... Boomer Sooner! I am from Texas originally so HOOK EM HORNS .
    I finally got my Kraft magazine I have been signing up for this magazine for like a year and I finally got one. Hubs saw the Chicken in Gravy and wanted me to make it, someone posted in the Sept Thread they made it (cannot remember who off the top of my head, sorry) Well we ate that for dinner and my gosh it was yummy. I just kind of threw it all together and I added some Velveeta Monterrey Jack Spicy..something cheese. YUMMY YUMMY..
    My boys have been driving me mad today..especially DS2 he found the bubble gum (ob tampons) again...OMGOSH this kid kills me and he was trying to eat them..I am glad they have that little plastic cover around them because he had them in his mouth . There is never a dull moment in the house with this kid around. I am glad he was not my first because he would have probably been an only child. Okay enough rambling I plan to go back to Buy For Less for some more Boomer Sooner Sirloin so I will add that later.

    This sounds like my house. Everyone says that if DS1 had been like DS2 I would have likely stopped at 1 but I think we were all just so spoiled by DS1 (an easy child) that anything DS2 does everyone gets over excited about. Poor DS2 is always in DS1's shaddow (my DS1 seems to be the favorite of DH's family out of all the grandkids). :shrug7:

    Happy October all! It had been glumy here all day, raining off and on. It makes for good napping weather. It is vital that I watch my budget extra close this month. The ex stopped paying his child support again...if only... Had to run to town again today. Patting myself on my back for picking up on DS1 script and nothing else. Stopped at HyVee and had $12.31 OOP. For those of you that have a HyVee, mine had Sargento Snack Cheese for .99/ 12pk. I picked up 4 colby jack and 1 pepper jack~they also had Libby's pumpkin in stock @ 2.29(didn't count that in my oop because mom will pay me for it). DS2 had an outdoor field trip today~he said it was alot of fun but cold.

    Yesterday
    Breakfast= DS's school, me coffee
    Lunch=DS's school, SO pizza, me dip
    Supper=Pigs in a blanket and velveeta shells and cheese

    Today
    Breakfast= DS's school, me coffee
    Lunch=DS's school, SO spam, me dip
    Supper=Spaghetti, garlic toast, salad

    Crockpot dip(I don't know if it has a real name)

    1lb cooked ground sausage(I used ground pork)
    1 family size cream of mushroom soup
    1 brick cream cheese
    1 can Rotel
    Garlic salt to taste

    Put all in the crockpot on med until all blended. Serve with chips(I prefer Tostito's Scoops)

    I think we have the same son LOL. I have said quite often recently if I'd had ds first I probably wouldn't have had another kid. I'm just glad I had him last because I was a wee bit overprotective and uptight with dd(read I freaked out over a little dirt). Now I have let it all go. My kids are often seen covered in marker,dirt,whatever or dressed up as superheroes in the store. Lot less stressful for me and a lot more fun for them LOL.

    So I went through the kids fall/winter clothes today. Ds thankfully doesn't need much because I've found some awesome deals on like new clothes at the thrift store over the last few weeks. Dd on the other hand is extremely hard to fit so I can;t buy any pants for her there and out of all her pants from last year only 3 fit and they're jogging pants. So we will be going shopping for pants this weekend. I am dreading it! Where do I find pants that are a 10/12 in the waist but a 7/8 in length??? Both kids also need new coats.

    On a more positive note. No OOP today!!!!!!!!!!! And I just did a survey that will pay $3 and managed to work a few minutes after getting the house cleaned and made $2 something.
