Went to Safeway and spent $8.20 mostly on produce while it was still on sale. Also went to Wegman's for a few things and spent $12.44 for a total of $20.64 making my monthly total $214.37 - way over my budget.
    B - oatmeal and grapefruit
    L - soup
D - hormel completes or similar items and salads (both DH and I have meetings tonight)

Sending dh to store on his way home from work for milk and bread and maybe Tylenol. Not sure what his OOP will be.

    B -oatmeal
    L - sandwich w/ leftover beef
D - turkey meatballs (MM with coupon at commissary), No yolks noodles (FAR), turkey gravy, spaghetti squash and greens.

I'm over my goal, but thats ok.

We have decided due to our personal circumstances and future plans that we want to have an 18 month supply of as much non-perishables as we can. But still stay within the budget of course. Incase during those months we HAVE to reduce our grocery budget drastically to get us through. So for the next few months my goal is to stay within our normal budget but get as much as we can with that. Yeah, we will have to move it all in a few months, but thats ok, I'll have more storage space when we move.

Just got back from Albies (again). I got 6 boxes of Hefty Fresh Extend Bags. Total was all tax at $0.58 so under the 10%. And I just noticed that using the doubler coupons (store Q's) actually reduces the tax. I had never realized that before. MQ's don't reduce it but store Q's do.

I shouldn't be hitting any more stores until Thursday but will then need to do another Albies run. I have OYNO's that expire on 11/2 and I don't like waiting until the last day to use them since I am always afraid something will come up that will make me not be able to get to the store. But then again I want to get the clearance Halloween items on Sunday so maybe I will just wait until then. We shall see.

I just put the boys down for thier naps and I can hear DS1 up there coughing up a store. He has had a cough for 3-4 days now but no other real symptoms. Hopefully this goes away soon. Talked to sis and her daughters fever only lasted a little while, gave her tylonal once then took a nap and it was gone when she woke up and now she has a cough but nothing else. Hmmmmmm.......strange.

I hope everyone is starting to feel better and we are thru the worst of this early icky season.

Got $5 CC in mail on a trade and a couple of family members donated $40 in exchange for some stockpile items. I went to HT got some Tropicana OJ, Yakosobi, Steamfresh Veggies & Tonys Pizza .... all under 10%. Would list, however I am short on time. Also, I won't be joining Novembers Challenge as I had planned. I got some not so good news on an ultrasound I had done week before last :( & because of this, my time is going to be limited until I find out further.....Hate to commit myself right now....

No spending to report. I would really like to go to Fareway for some fresh produce, but I think I'll wait and use my browning bananas up first. Boring mail day...all I got is the freebie paper with the store ads, and sent out a train envie.

    Today's Meals...

    Breakfast - Cereal
Lunch - I ate at work, hubs had leftovers
Supper - Salsa Chicken, 7 Layer Salad, Bananas
Snacks - Caramel Corn, Banana, Pumpkin Muffin
