B - oatmeal and grapefruit
L - leftover soup
D - chicken and salad

I made a pot of brocolli cheese soup from the stockpile! YUM!

I will have OOP tonight, DH is out of OJ...I will pick up a carton at Winn Dixie and hopefully get a $10/50 to use at Publix - if I even bother next week!

Oh I forgot about this - yesterday was my niece's 5th birthday, I went shopping in the closet (Target clearance toys from July) and found a good present PLUS a bag to wrap the present in

It's been a loooong day. I am so tired. I almost fell asleep while driving this morning so I stopped at the gas station for some caffeine $1.08. Took ds to the dr this afternoon only to be told he has a virus and not to give him anything for his cough, only for his fever  I will keep giving him something for his cough cause I think drs are not always right and the poor kid is coughing soooo bad he's choking. Went by Food GIant this afternoon $3.24 for 2 packs of chicken nuggets and a pack of candy bars.

I guess coming home from work early wasn't such a bad thing. The boys went straight down for a nap when we got home (DS2 fell asleep in the car) and I went straight to work. Swept & Moped the entry way, picked up all the toys in the living room, moved the chairs and vacuumed the whole room. Moved the dining room table and vacuumed there (whoever thought carpet in the dining rooom was a good idea doesn't have kids), did the dishes and have the second load of living room blankets in the washer. And I've only been home for 2 1/2 hours. I feel accomplished. . Dh doesn't know I came home early so we will see what he says when he gets home to find the house a lot cleaner than when we left this morning.

I am making tacos for dinner so quick and easy. I like it.

I sure hope my neices don't have the swine flu. That would not be good especially since my sis is prego and I think her 1yo son would likely also have a hard time with the flu. I am not sure if sis was able to get her swine flu shot yet and I know she was having a hard time getting her oldest daughter the regular flu shot and she is the one who woke up with a fever this morning.

And on top of all that I am having an issue with sitters as it is, with her house being off limits I don't know how I am going to get to work. :shrug7:

Oh well, I don't work again until Wednesday and I think my mom can watch them that day if need be. I guess I will just have to play it by ear.

No spending today but I plan to go shopping tomorrow.

Went to Fareway this afternoon, spent $12.46 OOP and got two gallons of milk, a container of sour cream, four packs of marked down green peppers, some marked down bananas and 15# of potatoes. I also had a great mail day! I got a rebate check for $5.69, two great train envies, a Huggies mailer with coupons and our electric bill (which I wouldn't normally consider part of the "good" but the bill was waaay less than I was expecting since it's the first one since we turned our furnace on. Hopefully the winter can continue this way ). I also found a dime So my new total is $124.08.

Today's Meals...

Breakfast - Cereal
Lunch - Hubs had leftovers, I ate with the kids at work
Supper - 7 layer salad, chicken noodle soup and turkey sandwiches
Snacks - Caramel Corn, Pumpkin Muffin
